Microplastics Pt 3
Can We Get Plastics OUT of the Body? The truth: our bodies don’t have a “plastic-dissolving” enzyme. But we can support natural detox systems so these particles don’t build up. 🌿 Here’s how to boost your body’s plastic defense & detox: - Fiber-rich foods (veggies, chia, flax, beans) bind toxins and plastics to carry them out. - Sweating (sauna, hot yoga, workouts) helps release some chemical additives. - Liver support: Cruciferous veggies, dandelion tea, and bitter greens keep detox pathways strong. - Hydration: Flushes particles through urine & stool. - Antioxidants (berries, green tea, vitamin C) reduce cell stress from plastic exposure. 👉 Think of it this way: the less toxic load we carry, the better our body handles what slips in. You can’t avoid every plastic — but you can make sure your body has the tools to fight back. ⚡ If you could add ONE new detox habit this week, what would it be — sweating more, eating more fiber, or drinking more filtered water?

🎉 Friday wins!! 🎉
Do you ever feel like you don’t have anything worth celebrating? If so, I see you—and you aren’t alone. We recently touched on the fact that humans are wired with a strong negativity bias. This is because our ancestors paid more attention to threats and dangers rather than pleasure. Additionally, the negative events are where we learn our deepest lessons. There are good reasons why we focus on the negative. With that said, it’s not healthy or productive to always focus on the negative. That sounds depressing, huh? Oftentimes, we must retrain our brains to focus on the positive. This takes commitment, awareness, and intentionality—and that is exactly the reason we set aside Fridays to focus on the positive! Oftentimes, we don’t take the time to celebrate ourselves when we’re navigating this journey alone, and that’s why we program in celebrating at least once per week. The goal is to help you focus on the positive on a consistent basis. 💯 Even if you initially feel like you don’t have anything worth celebrating, I’m certain that when you take some time to think about it, you’ll discover that simply isn’t true. Remember, positive thinking requires awareness and intentionality. So, without further ado, let’s focus on the positive and find your win because it’s worthy of celebration! 🎉 TAKING ACTION: ✅ Take a moment to find something worthy of sharing today, friends, and let’s celebrate your weekly wins! 🎉

Resist the Candy Bowl!
Yesterday, we briefly discussed the upcoming holiday season, because whether you’ve accepted it or not, it’s here. And although Halloween is several weeks away, the stores are already filling their shelves with Halloween candy—and that means the temptations are already there. Can I get an “Amen”?! 👌 No need to worry, though—because we have a great plan to help you navigate the upcoming few months! ⬇️ 👉We’re also going to have a Sugar Detox Challenge toward the end of the month that’ll help you reset your cravings, which in turn will help you resist the candy bowl. You know I’m all about equipping you with all the education and tools to navigate any season, so you can expect to have everything you need to approach the upcoming season. All I ask is that you show up and lean into it. It’s going to be a GREAT month! 🔥 TAKING ACTION: ✅ Drop your favorite Halloween emoji if you’re ready for our October education! We will also be touching on breast cancer and prevention!! What are you most excited about?

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN OF SEPT!!
It’s the final countdown—make those steps count today, friends! 👟 As you move your bodies today, I encourage you to find gratitude in your accomplishments this month. You’ve literally “taken steps forward”, and in case you haven’t figured it out by now, each and every step counts. As I mentioned yesterday, small steps, when done consistently, are the way forward. This should give you tremendous hope, friends. It doesn’t have to happen all at once. In fact, it shouldn’t all happen at once because the growth is found in the journey—not when you reach your goal. 💯 Again, I am so proud of you, and your hard work and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed. As your coach, nothing brings me greater joy than to see you invested in your own growth. 🫶 Now it’s time to step 👟 into a new month and focus on the last quarter of 2025! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again—if you can navigate the last quarter of the year, you can navigate any season! We’ll get into this in the coming weeks, but just remember that it’s important to show up in this space and for yourself for the next few months. We aren’t throwing away our goals just because the holidays are approaching. That’s an outdated way of thinking. It’s time to change the way you do things, friends—and the holiday season is a perfect time to start! 🔥 Check out this simple and healthy low-carb crockpot recipe below! ⬇️ Keto Crockpot Chicken Thighs with Cabbage - Clean Eating Kitchen TAKING ACTION: ✅ How are you feeling about the upcoming holiday season? Excited? Anxious? Share your thoughts below so we can discuss them!
