PSA: Why the CLASSIFIEDS is a public group
When you join a group, it’s always a good idea to make note of whether the group is public or private. Public means anyone in the world can see everything inside the community (unless there are locks on courses). Everything inside is also indexed by search engines like Google. Private means only the people inside the group can see what’s posted. So while most people will choose rightly to have a private group, the whole point of the CLASSIFIEDS is to enhance your visibility and get you more members. I don’t want you wasting your time posting about your group and having it only seen by the people inside this community (as wonderful as they are!). On the flip side, make sure groups you are in where you are posting sensitive information are private. Check out the groups you are in. Any surprises???

Public is perfect for this group 🥰
I’m Exploring a New Way to Support Serious Group Owners — I’d Love Your Thoughts
I’ve been thinking a lot about how to better support CLASSIFIEDS members who are actively growing their Skool groups and who want more than a place to post - specifically, more visibility, stronger relationships, and meaningful opportunities to collaborate. 🗺️ I’m exploring the idea of a small, curated cohort for group owners who are committed to helping each other grow in practical, generous ways. If you’ve been part of a mastermind before, this might look a little different from what you’re picturing, and that’s intentional. 🧭 Here’s the rough direction I’m considering: - A very small group (intentionally capped around 10-15) - Members who are actively growing paid or monetized groups - Monthly, facilitated sessions focused on: collaboration, cross-promotion, and reciprocal teaching/sharing - Opportunities for members to be featured or highlighted publicly through interviews or collaborations 💵 This wouldn’t be a traditional coaching program or a hot-seat-heavy mastermind. The value would come from: - The people in the room - The relationships formed - And the collective momentum created through collaboration It also wouldn’t be for everyone, and that’s by design. The goal would be quality, alignment, and follow-through, not scale. 💕 I’d love your input on one thing (no pressure to answer everything although you can if you would like): - What part of this sounds most valuable to you? - What questions would you have if you were considering something like this? - If you’ve never joined a small cohort like this before, what would help you understand whether it’s a good fit? There’s nothing to “opt into” yet, I’m simply gathering perspective as I shape the idea. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping me build things that actually serve the people here. I'm really excited about this next chapter! 🎉
I’m Exploring a New Way to Support Serious Group Owners — I’d Love Your Thoughts
@Justin Yip & @Joelle Staley covered most of the questions I have. That and how the groups would be formed. I was a part of a Bob Proctor mastermind for 3 years, and it was good for some things but a bit mundane for others. We were one of the longer standing groups since we followed a strict process each and every week. Everyone knew what was expected of them and what they had to do to show up.
@Shannon Boyer We shared wins (mundane but it set a positive tone for the catch-up), then shared what we needed help with. At the end, some people shared the same thing every single week. eg. I don't have clients but they weren't really invested in taking the feedback and advice from the group. Over the years, we'd all said what we knew could help so our support advice was not new. We were all in such different industries and locations, there was no possibility of collaborations. (Dr, Pet photographer, Strong-man, Beauty franchisee and me. We were located in Aussie, Texas, Poland, Canada) Other issues were, one person left the group and we let the wife of another member join. That was a mistake and changed the entire dynamic of the group. (Easy to see mistake in hindsight). We were a total of 5 pax. I would probably only stay in a small Mastermind for a year max. Then it's time to find new people to generate ideas from. Does that help?
Friday is the last day to purchase How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass.
The reviews have been awesome (you can see some of them in the comments below) and the excitement is mounting for new masterclasses in the classroom offered by you, the Classifieders. I can't wait! If you haven't purchased the masterclass yet, you have until midnight EDT Friday to do so, and then it disappears until March! ______________________________________________ The recording is now available in the classroom. You can find it here. If you've already purchased it, you can access it whenever it is convenient for you. If you haven't purchased it yet, it will be available in the Classifieds classroom to purchase for $27 until Friday, and then it will move to my other community (the Build Lab) where it will be available to premium members ($47/month). If you are a premium member and you are interested in giving a masterclass in the community (which I hope you are because it's a great opportunity), then this is your first step towards doing so. The next time this workshop will be offered live will be in March. If you have any questions or follow up comments, please don't hesitate to reach out! 😊

I have been teaching, running, writing and creating courses for 20 years (arrgghhh...holy heck that's a long time) and this workshop was a great reminder of how one or two things said by the right person @Shannon Boyer at the right time can spark something new! I've been asking for guidance on how to monetise what my clients tell is the best bit about my online programs (my group coaching) and today, I got the answer!!! Thanks for being awesome Shannon! 💜
The Momentum Planner - For People Who Struggle to Finish What They Start
"I wanted something that worked with my daily flow practices and something that kept me accountable to working from my higher self." I've bought SO many planners over the years. Passion Planner. Full Focus. Bullet journals. Custom ones. The fancy ones with all the productivity hacks. And they all ended up half-filled back in the bookshelf. But then I realized something that changed everything: Traditional planners are designed for task management. They're not designed to help you stay aligned with who you're actually becoming. So you write down your to-do list. You check off the boxes. You feel productive for a minute... but at the end of the day, you still feel like you're not making real progress on what actually matters. Because doing more stuff doesn't equal moving toward your goals. You need a way to check in daily and ask: "Is this action coming from my higher self, or am I just compensating for something? Am I creating from desire, or reacting to a problem?" That's why I created the Momentum Planner. I wanted something that worked with my daily flow practices and something that kept me accountable to working from my higher self. . 🌟 What Makes It Different Most planners ask: "What do you need to get done today?" 💚 The Momentum Planner asks: "What does your future self - the one living in your Land of Plenty - CHOOSE to create today?" Completely different energy. Completely different results. It's built on the Momentum Method framework - which means it helps you: ✅ Distinguish between creation orientation vs. problem-solving orientation ✅ Use your intuition to take the RIGHT action (not just more action) ✅ Catch unconscious patterns before they derail you ✅ Build momentum through alignment (not willpower) ✅ Actually finish what you start (because you're operating from your true identity, not forcing yourself) It has daily pages, weekly check-ins, and monthly reviews designed to keep you connected to your vision - not just reacting to what's urgent.

@Mona Weathers Thanks - I love it. Are you a pure digital girl or do you use paper planners?

Hey, Happy New Year! Today's my birthday, and instead of cake, I'm launching a 6-week cohort for Skool community owners who haven't made a dollar yet. I've been hearing this a lot from people in my community: "Des, I need to make money." They've been following along, learning the methods, but haven't earned anything yet from their Skool community. I get it. I was there too. So I built The First $29 Sprint - starting January 12th. Here's the honest version: It's 6 weeks. The goal is to help you make your first $29 from your Skool community. Not $29K. Just $29. Because once you prove the system works at $29, you can replicate it. No guarantees. I'm being straight with you. But if you complete the 5 requirements and don't make $29, you get fully refunded (both months - $58 total). What we'll cover: - How to position your expertise (not the generic "find your niche" stuff) - Discovery calls with potential customers (real conversations, not scripts) - Creating micro-offers people will actually pay for - Soft launching in your own community - Building engagement in Skoolers that drives traffic back to you 6 weekly calls. Mondays at 8 PM GMT. Daily support in Skool Monetization Lab. Templates and frameworks included. Investment: 2 x $29 = $58 total Doors close January 11. Limited to 100 spots. Quick backstory on me: I'm Des. 53. Former marketing executive. Went full-time building Skool communities in November 2025. I run The Content Revenue Lab (300+ members) and earn from 2 communities. Teaching you the exact methods I used. If you want to join: 1. Join The Content Revenue Lab (free): https://tinyurl.com/TheContentRevenueLab 2. Upgrade to premium here: https://www.skool.com/content-revenue-lab-4761/plans 3. You'll get an immediate welcome message with instructions 4. You'll be added to Skool Monetization Lab where calls happen
