Solar Cross Calendar
For the last 3 years, I’ve been fascinated by calendars—how humans measure time, organize the year, and mark seasons. But the more I studied, the more I noticed something curious: most calendars we use are a patchwork of arbitrary choices, shaped by empires, politics, or religious tradition. They work, but they don’t always feel intuitive. They aren’t aligned with the natural rhythms that everyone on Earth experiences—the sun, the moon, the equinoxes, the solstices. That realization led me to create something new: the Solar Cross Calendar. This isn’t an attempt to force anyone to adopt it; rather, it’s an open-source, Creative Commons art project, a personal exploration, and a suggestion for those curious about a more intuitive way to track time. Here’s how it works: the year is divided into 13 months, each with 4 weeks of 7 days. The 13th month is special—it’s divided into 4 individual weeks that correspond with the solstices and equinoxes, the natural pivot points of the year. These weeks act like markers, giving the calendar a symmetrical structure and allowing the seasons themselves to guide us through time. All of this adds up to 364 days. To account for the rest, I’ve included an extra “day out of time” each year on the last new moon, a second day every four years on the first full moon, and a subtraction every 100 years to stay aligned. I also map every new and full moon onto the calendar, creating a system where the extra days shift naturally while the weeks remain consistent. Every month starts on the same day, and every year begins on the same day, creating a predictable rhythm. I’ve kept it as culturally neutral as possible: only numbers, no names. The calendar is grounded in universal natural phenomena—observable by anyone, anywhere. Equinoxes, solstices, and the moon are experiences shared by all humanity, not dictated by any one culture, empire, or religion. For me, the Solar Cross Calendar is more than structure—it’s a lens. It encourages awareness of the passage of time through nature, rather than through arbitrary social constructs. And it sparks questions: if the calendar we live by was designed and imposed by the Roman Empire and refined through centuries of patchwork adjustments, what else do we accept unquestioningly? Could it inspire reflection on education, economics, politics, or spiritual frameworks—systems we rarely scrutinize, but that shape our perception of reality?

It's crazy because the way we perceive time today, we always rush, and often feels like there isn't enough of it you know, but this calendar, at least reading the description of it make me feel at peace with time, like it's calming and grounding in nature flow like I'm part of this whole, like everything is in harmony. It's such a different relation to time. It's beautiful✨ Thank you for your creation 🙏
Mornings
🌞 Morning Whispers & Gentle Beginnings 🌞 I hope you slept well 💓 This morning, I’m allowing myself to wake up softly — grateful for my bed, my covers, for the warmth, for that feeling of being all cosy and snuggly. ✨ I just breathe… and let myself be in that waking space. If something is waiting to be born or created, I jot it down in my journal — otherwise, I simply stay a few moments longer, not rushing, not racing… just arriving. Then, when I’m ready, I move slowly (it’s an ongoing practice for me). A gentle reminder: I’m not in a race. There’s no need to rush anything at all. 💫 I sit before my mirror, light a candle, and cross my legs in stillness. Sometimes I breathe, sometimes I chant or move — whatever wants to flow, flows. Afterward, I sit at my altar, light another candle, and write a gratitude list or set intentions for the day ahead. Then — teeth brushed, face washed, dressed and ready — I continue moving in rhythm. Listening to my body, my intuition, and pacing myself to support my health, my energy, my blueprint. It’s a practice, a gentle dance between wildness and calm — the energy is there, I just choose for it to flow rather than move like a tsunami. 🌊💛 ✨ As I sit here now, candle flickering, I’m reminded that each morning is a chance to begin again — to return to the body, to breath, to gratitude, to presence. Every small act of gentleness becomes a thread in the fabric of peace we weave through our day. What small thing helps you begin your mornings softly? What ritual, breath, or thought helps you greet the world with ease? 🌿 ✨

Recently I've been going on a small walk within the first 30 min of me waking up and it has helped me so much feel more grounded but also more grateful as I'm always blow away by the beauty of this Earth 🍃
Book Recommendations 📚
Hi friends, I am a huge book worm 🐛(okay it sounds a bit weird now that I'm typing it 😂). Anyhow, books have been my biggest teachers throughout this awakening process and just life in general so now that I joined this community of soul in the same boat as me I'd love to hear some of your favourites ! I'd start by sharing mine : - Ask and It's Given, by Esther and Jerry Hicks. I read it a few years into my spiritual journey and it answered a lot of questions I had around the LOA/ Manifestation. There's a lot of practical processes in it which feels refreshing because in "Spirituality" books a lot is theory/philosophy Je développe mes capacités physiques avec grace, facilité et légèreté - The Conversation With God series by Neale Donald Walsh Even tho each of the 4 books hold trendemous value the 1st one is enough to rock your world if you're not a big reader. They are so easy to read, the way the complex topics are broken-down in simple, digestible terms, the way the format is a discussion so the back and forth keeps you locked in, I mean I really loved it 🤭 📖So, what are your life changing books ?? ✨ Thank you for your shares in advance 🫶

Free reiki
Hey famfam! I'm offering 15mins of free distance Usui Reiki (or Dragon Reiki) to the community in exchange of feedback. Living in Glastonbury I am not getting many distance sessions requests, I'd like to practice, and also give a little bit 👐 Distance reiki is good for: 1. Clearing the aura & subtle body: Removes heavy, stagnant, or foreign energies that cling to the field. 2. Stress reduction & nervous system reset: Calms fight-or-flight even at a distance; people often report deep relaxation or better sleep. 3. Energetic alignment: Brings chakras/aura layers back into coherence, like tuning an instrument. 4. Emotional release: Old grief, anger, or anxiety may surface and move through. 5. Pain relief: Some feel less physical pain or tension after remote sessions. 6. Timeless effect: Reiki isn’t bound by linear time; you can send it to past/future events for healing. 7. And more! Let me know if interested or feel free to message me 💜 (here or IG @drakara_thread)

✨ I have a question ✨ Over the years, I’ve noticed something… and I wonder if you’ve seen it too. Why do we, as people, often find it hard to truly support each other? Why do we hesitate to share someone else’s work, wisdom, or offerings — afraid that doing so might somehow overshadow our own? It’s as though we’ve been conditioned to believe there’s not enough room, that someone else’s light will dim ours. But what if the opposite is true? 🌱 What if greatness becomes greater when it’s celebrated together? 🌱 What if unity, not competition, is where real recognition is born? 🌱 What if supporting each other’s creations — even when they are similar, even when they overlap — is part of our own healing and integration? Because here’s the thing: We’re not just sharing content, we’re weaving connection. We’re not just promoting products, we’re building a village. And whether we admit it or not, most of us are out here longing for that — a sense of friendship, counsel, community. So maybe it’s not about clutching for attention or proving we’re “special.” Maybe it’s about choosing celebration over scarcity. Because you can still honor your own brilliance while lifting someone else’s. In fact — it often shines brighter that way. 💛 Imagine if every time we came across something real, valuable, and authentic — we shared it, supported it, amplified it. Not just the polished, pretty, “on-brand” things, but the raw, heartfelt, meaningful work too. There’s room. There’s space. And there’s magic in walking each other home. ✨ What do you think — have you noticed this too? Tell me how can I support you as a fellow leader , how can I help share what you have to offer and who you be in the world 🌎 x

Before answering this post specifically, I wanted to let you know that your posts are always so insightful and I resonate with the way you write things. Every time I see you post I just click 🤗 Anyhow about the post, it is something I've noticed especially in myself. When I started my online page I used to compare myself a lot. I struggled to get engagement so every time I saw someone do something similar but getting engagement I was jealous, or just when I was seeing someone succeed period. With a lot of introspection, I came to realise, like you said in your post, that a big part of this jealousy was actually a fear linked to Scarcity Mindset. I was scared them succeeding menant I wouldn't do the more I saw success the more I was discouraged. After realising that, I became mindful of rewiring this Scarcity Mindset to one of abundance, (Gratitude helped me do much to shift this) and now the more success I see the happier I get because it shows me how much opportunities there is ✨ Thank you again for your shares🫶

@Alexandros Dimitriadis I so resonate with you ! In the back of my mind I too feel like we are all one and "my" ideas are divine inspiration so it doesn't make sense to call them mine. Funnily enough (or not) this fuelled an imposter syndrome on me for quite some time because I never felt legitimate to share as I saw 'my thoughts " just being a big remix of so many creators. Now I know better tho but I thought I'd share that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
