π Morning Whispers & Gentle Beginnings π
I hope you slept well π
This morning, Iβm allowing myself to wake up softly β
grateful for my bed, my covers, for the warmth,
for that feeling of being all cosy and snuggly. β¨
I just breathe⦠and let myself be in that waking space.
If something is waiting to be born or created,
I jot it down in my journal β
otherwise, I simply stay a few moments longer,
not rushing, not racing⦠just arriving.
Then, when Iβm ready, I move slowly (itβs an ongoing practice for me).
A gentle reminder: Iβm not in a race.
Thereβs no need to rush anything at all. π«
I sit before my mirror, light a candle,
and cross my legs in stillness.
Sometimes I breathe, sometimes I chant or move β
whatever wants to flow, flows.
Afterward, I sit at my altar, light another candle,
and write a gratitude list or set intentions for the day ahead.
Then β teeth brushed, face washed, dressed and ready β
I continue moving in rhythm.
Listening to my body, my intuition,
and pacing myself to support my health, my energy, my blueprint.
Itβs a practice, a gentle dance between wildness and calm β
the energy is there,
I just choose for it to flow
rather than move like a tsunami. ππ
β¨
As I sit here now, candle flickering, Iβm reminded that each morning is a chance to begin again β
to return to the body, to breath, to gratitude, to presence.
Every small act of gentleness becomes a thread in the fabric of peace we weave through our day.
What small thing helps you begin your mornings softly?
What ritual, breath, or thought helps you greet the world with ease? πΏ
