#SneakPeekSaturday : 365 Days of Colour!
I created my membership, The Colour Room, last Summer with an 'invitation only' launch... before I was even on Skool. Once I had an actual 'room,' and my Founding Members and I had done some set-up and co-creation, I opened it up for a free trial, not the 7-day Skool platform trial, but a six week window where my Membership grew from about 40 to almost 400. Doors closed (and free tier disappeared) at midnight on New Year's Eve (the ultimate deadline!), and I'll be re-opening on Jan.5 as a 2-tier Paid Membership. Not gonna lie, I'm feeling a little nervous about the shift, but I'm ready to level up, and I'm feeling grateful and grounded by some of the foundational fun that's already in place. The heartbeat of The Colour Room is 'Card per Diem,' a daily reveal of a new colour to help my Artist, Teacher, and colour-curious Explorer RoomMates expand their visual vocabulary, one colour at a time. I post a random colour, and members have to find it in an assortment of Colour Stamps on downloadable print-and-play Colour Tracker Calendar PDF. We tracked our way through the last four months of 2025 (a grid of the 2025 colours is below), and I'm planning to keep the Colour Tracker Calendars going with almost 300 new colours to take us through 2026. Members are already three days (and three colours) in to January, and I'm playing along with them. There are 27 colours revealed each month (the other days are for check-in and catch-up, but we still celebrate colour along the way). We'll be tracking new colours for 11 months (December is reserved for a special Advent-inspired event). Not sure how things are going to evolve in 2026, but having this daily dollop of colour is a ritual that I know will help maintain the momentum for everyone. Only 294 colours to go...

Do You Know What January 2nd Is...?
January 2nd is the day that doors open for registration to the How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass, which will be offered live on January 6th. The workshop is open to everyone (cost is $27), but if you are a Premium member who is planning on teaching a masterclass on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar, then this workshop is a prerequisite for doing that. I only offer this once every two months, but it will be recorded, and you will have access to the recording indefinitely. So, if you think you might be interested in offering a masterclass any time in the next 3 months, you will want to make sure you register for this session. If you can make it live - even better! Now, I know some of you are thinking: but I already know how to give a masterclass, I don't need to take this session. While that may be true, the purpose of the session is to let everyone know what I think it means to provide value so that our calendar is full of masterclasses that people are clamoring to take. You don't have to follow my format, but you do need to provide value. Is this gatekeeping? Yes. Is it for a good reason? Also, yes. If the calendar is full of fluffy, pitch fests that bring no value, then it's going to be a wasteland that no one looks at, and that hurts us all. My vision for the calendar is that it is a place full of very valuable learning opportunities and experiences that people are checking regularly and attending widely. Mark Jan 2 and Jan 6 on your calendar. You will be able to purchase the masterclass at the top of the classroom during that time frame. Questions? Comments? Thoughts? Share below!

@Ahmy Brock Me too! @Shannon Boyer let us know the next date :D
Are You Coming Today? It's PERSONAL!
On Wednesday, we will be having our first Premium meetup of the month affectionately called the PERSONALS, and no, it has nothing to do with dating! We will be doing two different break out groups this time. Members will have an opportunity for small group discussions with two different groups. The first discussion will be about growth and the second discussion will be about engagement. Participants will introduce themselves with a short two-sentence introduction to their group and a link in the chat at the beginning of each discussion, so you might want to type up something ahead of time that you can easily copy and paste. No one is forced to talk, so if you want to come and lurk, that's okay too! We're a pretty casual, supportive, and friendly bunch, though! I can't wait to see you there! Oh, and I will need a co-facilitator for the group that I am not a part of, so if you are interested in this, please send me a DM. If you are not yet a Premium member and you would like to attend the meetup, please click here.

🎁 Story Selling Friday?! 🤓
OK... GOSH, I hope this will be fun! On Fridays in this group (which will really be about 36-48 hours long to more or less honor when it's Friday SOMEWHERE)... you can promote but only through a story! THIS REALLY SHOULD BE FUN!! (I hope) GUIDELINES: - No story = no promo - If you want to promote your group or anything else, it's got to be wrapped inside of a story. - The offer is related to the story in some way but wouldn't be the headline. - This should genuinely be fun --> tell a story with that usually story arch where you set up the background, lay on the tension or the turning point, then share the breakthrough, and finally let all that goodness be a bridge to your offer - LINK IS ALLOWED at the end of your post - Please no bullet-point sales pages or CTAs with the "buy now" "last chance" "doors closing in two seconds" FOMO triggers. - Don't add it here, make your OWN POST! And Stick it in the category called "🎁 Story Selling Friday!" - IF YOU WANT, you can add a link to your to that post in a comment on this post and even share the BTS to your story (BTBTS behind the behind the scenes! lol) That's it! ================== This is a post from my group "Connect & Collab". I want to be really clear that I love and adore the Classifieds and am glad it exists. I come here to check stuff out and to share it. I expect it to FEEL like the Classifieds (although I'd love to see some "Romeo Looking for Juliet" and vice versa here and there for fun...?! Or some variation of that). So I've been working to find the balance of allowing some promo BUT not turning my group into the Classifieds. What I'm doing NOW is that we have a whole bunch of ways that members can promote but there are some limitations too: - some posts are there specifically for advertising your group or offer(s), - you can introduce your group to us, - it's A-OK to share a link when it comes up organically in conversation, - premium/VIP members can promote anytime, - collabs that benefit members of our group are OK to share with permission, etc. - (NOW the Story Selling Friday)

Love this! My group is small and there are only 2 of them who have their own biz! So, organically people know what they do but I have a rule of no promo. Otherwise it could change the dynamic of the group quickly.

@Éva Raposa Yes, one of them asked if she can make a video for something next year and I have had to remind her it is a promo free space! Keeping the balance
