#SneakPeekSaturday : 365 Days of Colour!
I created my membership, The Colour Room, last Summer with an 'invitation only' launch... before I was even on Skool. Once I had an actual 'room,' and my Founding Members and I had done some set-up and co-creation, I opened it up for a free trial, not the 7-day Skool platform trial, but a six week window where my Membership grew from about 40 to almost 400. Doors closed (and free tier disappeared) at midnight on New Year's Eve (the ultimate deadline!), and I'll be re-opening on Jan.5 as a 2-tier Paid Membership. Not gonna lie, I'm feeling a little nervous about the shift, but I'm ready to level up, and I'm feeling grateful and grounded by some of the foundational fun that's already in place. The heartbeat of The Colour Room is 'Card per Diem,' a daily reveal of a new colour to help my Artist, Teacher, and colour-curious Explorer RoomMates expand their visual vocabulary, one colour at a time. I post a random colour, and members have to find it in an assortment of Colour Stamps on downloadable print-and-play Colour Tracker Calendar PDF. We tracked our way through the last four months of 2025 (a grid of the 2025 colours is below), and I'm planning to keep the Colour Tracker Calendars going with almost 300 new colours to take us through 2026. Members are already three days (and three colours) in to January, and I'm playing along with them. There are 27 colours revealed each month (the other days are for check-in and catch-up, but we still celebrate colour along the way). We'll be tracking new colours for 11 months (December is reserved for a special Advent-inspired event). Not sure how things are going to evolve in 2026, but having this daily dollop of colour is a ritual that I know will help maintain the momentum for everyone. Only 294 colours to go...
