Movement: 45 minutes shoveling & snowblowing over lunch. Another 60 minutes of clearing snow off the roof and shoveling it away from the house. Leader Habit: Read a few more chapters of Team to Tribe and took notes and journaled. Protein ✓ Water ✓ Last few winters have been very light on snow here in Minnesota. It almost feels like Mother Nature gave us everything she held back on. By about mid-winternin January, we start to feel like there is no place to move the snow. It already feels like that this year. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the winter goes.

I have a lot weighing on me today. I skipped my usual workout, and chose to walk around the neighborhood to try to clear my head a bit. Met my protein and water goals easily today (probably through stress snacking! 😅). For leadership I did some mentoring for some recruits assigned at my division, and shared some work I’d prepared for the recruits to work on for practice with my peers at other divisions for their assigned recruits. I’m in my final weeks at my current assignment, so a lot of picking up pieces and trying to leave it better than I found it as hard as that seems currently.

Ticked the boxes except for protein - around 70% I'm feeling a little disconnected from my day job, but at the same time there are some fun moments and it feels like I'm starting to own the project I'm working on, which gives me confidence I've not had for a while. Looking at the calendar, I just realised there's a chance that I'll be working through Christmas. Mmmmm. I'm not big on holidays but I was starting to look forward to some time off.... I guess we'll need to make it all happen in the next week then 😉

Today I completed the last day of the motorcycle course. I passed the writing and riding test!! I was there all day but had a few 15 min brakes so I did 30 min of movement total today. It wasn’t my ceiling but it was something. I met my protein goal and hydration was 60 oz today Leadership habit - journaled and passed the motorcycle test!
