📢 Don't listen to software sellers!
This is a rant. I've been working on the tech market for 10 years. One thing that I noticed is this industry is dominated by 2 kinds of professionals: - People who are selling their software - People who are selling their services (and secretly also a software) Both do not care about your goals and your budget. They just want to push you to choose the most expensive option without caring if you're really going to use it correctly. So you're convinced that a magic tool is going to revolutionize your business, they make you think that it will do all the work for you. And than you pay for a software, you hire someone to implement it to you... And after all of that you realize that it is not what you really needed. Because in this whole process nobody cared about solving your issue! They just wanted to make a sale. I want to be the kind of IT professional that presents you to a tailored solution for your problem. With the tool that you can pay for. Checking your whole process to see if that works for you. So at the end you can have a tech stack that actually makes sense for your operations. If you like that, check my community. Hop into a Tech Talk Thursday. Post your difficulties. I'll be happy to find the best solutions for your problems.

Preach it man. I like your approach of just working out what you need and then expand from there as the need grows.

I'm surprised that there are not more groups like this centered around sports. If you include Fantasy Football in there I would imagine that would be a draw also. Good luck

@Dr. Bryan Raya I agree. Low stress hobby groups seem to be something that is being missed on skool.

We all romanticize the finished product—the sprawling house, the stunning loft, the freedom-van. But we forget the drafters who made it real. In the design and construction industry, drafters often work in silos and struggle to get the recognition they deserve. You are not low on the totem pole! It's time for a change. Join Drafting Workshop. This is a community where the building blocks of architects and interior designers — drafters — support each other’s growth, collaborate to find solutions, and elevate their collective standing in the industry. Get ahead with your tribe.

Everyone has an idea of a dream house right? It might be a beautiful two-story house with a yard and a picket fence. It might be a loft overlooking a city scape. For some, it could even be a custom van and the open highway. What do all of these have in common? Someone had to draw a set of plans before the first step of building them could happen. The drafters are usually low on the totem pole in the hierarchy of design and building. I’ve started a community for drafters, architects, interior designers, and anyone interested in these areas of the construction process to come together and be in a community. Support each other in their careers. We want to get ahead, not fall behind. Help each other solve problems. Collaborate on projects. Learn about different aspects of the industry. If this sounds interesting to you, join my community. Drafting Workshop

🚦 Stop Sending YouTube Traffic Directly to Your Skool (You're Losing 80% of Potential Revenue)
Stick with me here, because this will sound mad at first glance... I spent the last month analysing top YouTube monetisers and Skool leaderboard communities, and I discovered something that made me completely rethink my strategy. The Reality: Most of your YouTube audience doesn't want to join a community. They want courses, templates, or one-time guidance. By only offering Skool membership, you're leaving significant revenue on the table—not because community isn't valuable, but because you're giving people ONE path when they want multiple options. The Numbers (Quick Example) 👉 Scenario 1: Skool-Only 1000 YouTube viewers → 20-50 Skool members at $97/mo Revenue: $1,940-$4,850/month Everyone else = $0 👉 Scenario 2: Multi-Stream (Email Capture → Courses + Community + Coaching) Same 1000 viewers → $3,000-$5,000 first month + recurring The difference: $1,000-$3,000 additional revenue from people who won't join Skool but WILL buy courses Real Example: Mim Jenkinson (Sticker Creator) $47 course: $2,350-$4,700/month $7/month Skool (942 members): $6,594/month Key insight: 65% of her buyers want courses, not community If she only offered Skool, she'd miss most of her revenue. Courses + low-barrier community works better than high-ticket community alone. Why Courses Work ✅ Self-paced (no ongoing commitment) ✅ One-time purchase (easier than subscription) ✅ Privacy (no posting required) ✅ Instant revenue ($297 course vs. waiting 3+ months for $97/mo to match) 60-70% of your audience will buy courses but won't join community. The Strategy YouTube → Lead Magnet → Email List → Multiple Options: → Courses (5-10% convert) → Skool (2-5% convert) → Coaching (0.5-2% convert) By only offering Skool, you lose: The course market (60-70% of the audience) The coaching market (5-10%) Future monetisation (no email list) Questions for You Are you offering courses + community? Or only Skool? What's your revenue split? Noticed people wanting courses over community?

I've seen a few YT videos lately claiming that lead magnets are dying and with using AI, the better offer is something personalized to who is giving you their email. Have you seen this? What are your thoughts about it?
