Monochromatic today. Yes, the pants are too long- I will be hemming these later tonight No, I did not dive on a wrinkle grenade. The pants were pressed last night but they are brand new. I think they need to to be washed to soften up. They wrinkled up on my way into the office. Wrinkles appear worse in pics than they actually are. So I came upon this coat and trousers ensemble today and was especially intrigued by the weight of the trousers. They are somewhat high waisted and heavy, and will need to be altered. Surprisingly, the three-roll-two jacket fit perfectly. The label inside the jacket says Mister Guy, which advertises itself as a fine men’s clothing store in St. Louis. I really don’t know how to describe the wool cloth or the pattern, but I cannot wait until next fall to put together an English/country outfit in the spirit of @Brian McGuire. Oh, and forgive the polo shirt…I was trying to hurry and get photos. Coat and trousers like new…$18.00. So, as I study the pics, I probably needed to stand up straighter. It would make the shoulders fit better and shorten the sleeves. It was a long day! 🥴

I just realized that the paper towels by gas pump are for wiping your tears away after you fill up your gas tank! 😳
