I have noticed a trend with online shopping. I will use CT as an example but there are many that do this. If you go to their site directly you are shown one set of prices (much higher) Instead enter a google search for the item you are looking for and go to the site via the sponsored add for a much cheaper price. Yes, the add pictured (2) is not the same shirt, but it gets you to the site via the sponsored add. now look for the item you want and get it at a fraction of the original cost. Pic 1 is going directly to CT site, pic two is sponsored adds from a generic search, pic three is the original shirt on CT site once reached from the sponsored add.

This is definately a stretch for me. My wife and I are preparing to take a three week leisure/work trip. We’re expecting really hot temps. I’m experimenting with lighter colors and linen. Linen will be a challenge for me, as I’m the guy who always irons his shirts. We’re running down toward Kansas City today, so I’m trying a long sleeved linen shirt-sleeves rolled up, tan Anson belt, and light colored 511 straight-legged pants. Forgive my dark hiking shoes. I found a like-new pair of tan Topsiders which turned out to be too big. I will at times, also be sporting a Stetson straw for sun protection. Very non-western. It’s stretching me! 😆

He did exactly what helps others learn: he shared the full outfit breakdown, the details, and the why behind it — from the navy cable knit and brown polo to the indigo 501s, oxblood double monks, matching strap, scent, and watch. That kind of post gives other men real examples they can study and apply. (Link to post) Second, @Dr. Jason Cole for jumping in to help @Ken Erickson with a style question on black tux shoes. That kind of thoughtful member-to-member guidance is exactly what builds a real brotherhood here — not just posting, but showing up to help someone make a better decision when it matters.
