PCOS update
My menstrual cycle was never regular. I didn’t know that I have PCOS, spent my teenage with all the horrible symptoms of it. When I entered 20s, I studied about it, took guidance from Dr. Tehreem, and some other foreign PCOS mentors. I reversed my symptoms and my menstrual cycle became regular. 3 months ago my dermatologist gave me some medication, it made my cycle irregular again. I missed my November and December periods. I left the medicine and started working on myself again. Today I got my periods after like 3 months and I am so happy.

The Emotional Weight You Carry Is Heavier Than Your Body Weight
Most people think their struggle is about food. Calories. Willpower. Discipline. But if that were true, information alone would have fixed everything by now. The truth is— your body is not the problem. What’s heavy is the emotional load you carry every single day. The stress you wake up with. The expectations placed on you. The pressure to perform, provide, and stay strong. The guilt of not doing “enough.” The silent comparison. The constant mental noise. All of that sits inside the body. And when emotional weight builds up, the body responds. How emotional weight shows up physically Constant fatigue even when you “eat right” Cravings that feel uncontrollable Poor sleep or restless nights Low motivation despite wanting change Belly fat that refuses to budge Feeling disconnected from your body This isn’t laziness. This is a nervous system under pressure. When the body feels unsafe, overwhelmed, or judged, it goes into survival mode. And survival mode doesn’t care about fat loss—it cares about protection. Why pushing harder makes things worse So many people respond to this by: Restricting food Forcing workouts Shaming themselves into action Starting over every Monday But pressure does not heal pressure. The body doesn’t release weight when it feels attacked. It releases weight when it feels supported. That’s why consistency feels hard. That’s why motivation comes and goes. That’s why “doing everything right” still feels exhausting. Real progress starts with emotional awareness Healing your relationship with your body means asking: What am I holding onto emotionally? Where am I living in constant stress? What do I expect from myself that I’d never expect from someone I love? What do I need more of—rest, boundaries, kindness, or support? Weight loss isn’t just physical work. It’s emotional unpacking. A gentle reminder You don’t need to be stricter. You don’t need more punishment. You don’t need to hate your body into change.

Best Time To Check Weight 🔔
If the scale has confused or discouraged you, this is for you 🤍, let’s clear this early. ✅ Best time to check your weight: 🌅 Morning 🚽 After using the washroom 🍽️ Before food or water 👕 Same or light clothing ❌ Why checking weight during the day is misleading: • 🍽️ Food in the stomach• 💧 Water, tea, coffee intake• 🧂 Salt → water retention• 😰 Stress & cortisol → bloating• 🚶‍♀️ Exercise → temporary inflammation• 😴 Poor sleep → hormonal shifts That 1–2 kg change during the day is NOT fat.Fat gain doesn’t happen in a few hours. The scale is data, not a judgement of your effort. In this community, we focus on habits, patience, and progress — not panic 🤍 💬 In one word, how your days have been? You’re doing great for just starting 🌱
