🚨 Hot take: Revenue ≠ Success.
For 5 years, one of my clients looked like she had it all. - Multiple six-figure months. - Constant stream of clients. - Industry expertise most people dream of. But behind the scenes? - No scalable systems. - No real structure. - Revenue… but barely any profit. Fast forward 3 months after working together: - Systems built to scale. - Processes that actually work without her. - A confident, high-performing team. - Consistent $60K+ profit months — with $100K on the horizon. Here’s the debate: If you had to choose ONE metric to define business success, what would it be? I’ll share my take (and why it’s not what most coaches think) after the poll closes.

Profit keeps you going, scalability keeps you growing.
Virtual Assistants
Hey peeps! Fortunately, I'm at the point where I need to hire an assistant. No complaints! I'm not sure if I want to go with a virtual assistant versus an intern in the US. I'd love to get thoughts from the community on pros and cons of going with a virtual assistant versus someone state-side. I know cost is major trade-off. But I'm interested in your experience with communication, coordination, and collaboration.

I've hired VAs off of Upwork and most have been great. I first have them do a short, paid task to see if they'd be a good fit. The main thing is training. I'd make sure to have a set onboarding and task demo/list of what you'd like them to get started with.
Hello from Austin, TX
Hey everyone, my name is Diane - Career Coach with 10+ years of experience. I've enjoyed my career in recruiting, transitioning into career services in higher ed + Maximum Wage. I first ventured out w/ my own company and quickly got an opportunity to work with Indeed as a resume writer. I currently have a retainer coaching model and primarily work on helping clients with resume + job search automation. P.S. I LOVE automation, happy to chat to anyone about how to automate their repetitive tasks in their business.
Thoughts on invitations to be featured in articles?
Hey Coaches, I'm sure a lot of you have gotten offers to be featured in online articles and magazines. I usually turn these down when I've never heard of the host/magazine. But I recently got one from USA Today. That one I have actually heard of 😂 It's $1,500 for the feature. I think I'm going to turn it down, because I would rather be featured in an article or magazine related to my niche... But I'm curious what y'all think?

Never pay to be featured. I've used HARO or directly talking with writers to be featured for free.
