Food gift baskets for client gifts?
Does anyone have a national company they love for sending edible client gifts? We've been using iGourmet to send charcuterie to some of our top clients the last few years. However, their prices continue to go up and we are looking at other alternatives to stay within the gifting limit. I loved some of the feedback folks shared on @Kayla Berger's post about client experience and some gifts (Thanksgiving pies, college sweatshirts for parents of new students, etc.) and thought I'd try some sourcing beyond my Google searches.

can't speak to a national chain - but we use a local bakery in our area for cookies for clients birthdays and that helps a small local business as well.
15-Minute Introductory call for prospects
Do any of your offices offer a 15-Minute Introductory call to prospects to vet them? If so, who is doing that call i.e. the advisor, marketing, operations? Can you also share the questions that are asked on that call? TIA

most of our prospects are referred by existing clients - our advisor makes the phone call & if prospect is interested, we follow-up with an in-person meeting.
Welcoming New Clients
What are your firms giving to clients when they onboard at the signing? A welcome folder? If so, what are you putting in your welcome folders? TIA 😃

We have Tervis metal cups with our logo as well as pens and recently purchased umbrellas with our logo. Our welcome folder has literature from our custodian (Schwab) about how they protect assets and 5 benefits of an independent financial advisor. Also a 1 page document on why the prospect should choose our firm.

the folder is given at initial meeting - once they sign advisory agreement, we offer them logo'ed product.
Client Experience
Our firm is focusing this year on ways to elevate our client experience. What are some items your firm does that you believe elevates the overall client experience?

We send a small box of cookies to our top tier clients on their birthday from a local bakery. We spend about $17 (including shipping) and clients feel special and though of.
New Hire Interview Tools
Thank you for the New Hire Workflow and tools. Do you have particular interview questions that have been most helpful for you in assessing if the candidate is qualified for the job you are hiring? Not the standing what's your best/least qualities, but that really drill down on whether the applicant is the right fit?
