Looking for VoIP Provider Recommendations
Happy Monday!! We're reevaluating our current VoIP provider (Vonage) and would love to hear what others are using. Looking for something reliable, good call quality, easy to manage. Would appreciate any feedback on what’s worked (or hasn’t) for your firm. Thank you!

We are currently using Intulse and are very happy with their phone call platform - we have been told they are working to improve their SMS messaging platform which can use some updates. Would strongly suggest staying away from Simplii - would be happy to share details, but the short story is they fell far short of what was promised during the sales process and made it extremely difficult to leave. I did really like Intulse's process which includes trying out any new system with a dummy phone number so that you can ensure a seamless transfer with your existing number - would recommend doing this no matter which provider anyone considers switching to.
Greminders vs Calendly?
Happy Friday, y'all! I've been using Calendly for years, but haven't integrated it into Wealthbox. It's worked well... Considering a move to Greminders instead of trying to duct-tape together something with Calendly + Zapier + Wealthbox Anyone made the switch? Have any feedback? Also, I think - based on what I've seen - that Greminders might be able to also replace Knudge for automated client tasks like inviting them to schedule their 6 month strategy meeting or requesting their tax return annually, etc. through their automations: https://www.greminders.com/product/automations Welcome any thoughts or feedback from anyone using Greminders for scheduling, automations/client tasks & reminders, and integration with Wealthbox. Thanks!

We are using GReminders with integration to Wealthbox and have found it very useful in improving our client scheduling workflow and having the software take care of meeting reminders for clients. They have several other automations we haven't gotten into using yet. I really like that I can build out "bulk sends" to clients based on how we have them organized in Wealthbox for annual meetings and other specific meeting types in our service calendar. We are also current users of Knudge and Thyme - looking to move away from Knudge at our next renewal date. Knudge has done a good job for us for several years but think we can bundle what they do into Thyme (or GReminders).
Encrypted Emails vs Secure Uploads
Good afternoon everyone and happy Good Friday. I’m looking to gather some input on best practices for securely sending and receiving client PII. Up until now, our firm has primarily used password-protected PDFs and secure upload links for exchanging sensitive client information. However, we’ve recently upgraded our Microsoft subscription, which now includes encrypted email capabilities. After confirming with compliance, we’ve been advised that this method meets regulatory standards as well. I’m curious what methods other advisors here are using. - Do you have a preferred method for sending/receiving PII? - Have you adopted encrypted email as a standard, or do you stick with portals or password-protected docs? - Any tips or best practices you’ve found helpful in communicating securely with clients? Thanks in advance for your input—I really appreciate learning from this community.

@Bethany Boschert Thank you, this is a good idea. I will reach out to our MSP and see if they can set this up.
Compliance Tech Stack
Who does everyone use for Compliance? We are looking to remove ourselves from Comply?

@Marcella Toronto I would agree with the comments regarding Advisor Assist. They were a good partner in getting our RIA set up and I really enjoyed working with my consultant, Gabby. She helped us through our registrant exam and was invaluable. Having now moved to Greenboard plus a local Compliance Consultant in KC - I am equally pleased that we have made this change. They have helped us simplify and target our compliance program to our firm - and improved our tech interface.
PTE 2020-02 Disclosure and Documentation
Good afternoon everyone. I am puzzling through an improved operational process to complete the required rollover disclosures and documentation required by PTE 2020-02. We currently utilize a .pdf form that we review with the client and then collect an e-signature though Adobe E-sign. I am hoping there is a more templated process that I can create either in GReminders, Thyme, PreciseFP, etc that would make the process smoother for our firm and the client. (I am not yet a Precise FP user, but on their public facing pages it doesn't appear they have any workflows regarding PTE 2020-02.) Does anyone have a process they use and are willing to share that might be an improvement for the client-facing step and also improve the PTE 2020-02 annual review that has to be done. Thanks in advance.
