Cybersecurity Tech Stack - VPN Needed?

Currently we are using RIAWorkspace for IT and Microsoft Defender/Advisor Armor for cybersecurity. What are other operators using and does your stack include a VPN?

I'm also down to Dashlane, 1Password, and Keeper for a PW management tool. What has been the group's experience with these?

We use a VPN because of the extra level of safety it provides

We feel a VPN isn't necessary with adequate IT and cybersecurity resourcces
