My Update
Hi All. Only getting caught up on Posts now. So as some of you know, last weekend i had my annual race day trip away with the lads... it was an amazing weekend but unfortunately it rained all day in Chester which dampened the occasion but we made the most of it... Then probably because I over indulged and got soaked at races I ended up coming hoke with the dreaded Man Flu.... Now I dont need to tell every man on here that this is life threatening and worse than child birth 😉😉🤣 This caused me to be just OFF this week. Felt horrible, unmotivated and just generally feeling sick. But I stuck to the principles as best I could... water intake, whole foods and calorie deficiency... but bad steps and no exercise Finally plucked up the courage to get on the scales again and I lost 1.5 pounds... very happy with that... But I feel really good today but like Mark last weekend im flying solo with the kids this weekend. Plan to start back with Gym next week... Won't make call as hopefully watching Europe win the Ryder Cup... Keep Safe All.... Talk soon
Yesterday was Day 30.. my Wins
Finished the first 30 days and this is where i am at. 1. No inflammation in joints💪 2. Loads more energy than expected⚡️ 3. Greater clarity of thought💭🗯️🗯️ 4. Renewed enjoyment of cooking🥘🧑‍🍳 5. 5cm deduction in waist measurement📏📏⚖️ 6. 7kg weight loss ⚖️⚖️ I will be starting the 30 day gut challenge in 3 days time. As I don’t wish to waste food I have given myself this short period of time to finish portions of food that are unable to be frozen. @Mark Bryce this challenge has been life changing… it has provided me with the best start to the rest of my life…I am truly grateful that you provided such an amazing opportunity to, not only myself, but also to the other members of the community that have provided encouragement and support to myself during this challenge..You really are an inspiring leader… thank you ever so much🙏🙏🤗🧐

Day 25
Hi All. So this is my Day 25 update. The reason im doing a Day 25 post is because this weekend im heading away on an annual lads Horse Racing Trip to Chester Racecourse. So let's just say Calories watching, steps and water might be a little bit down the pecking order 🤣🤣🤣 Here are some facts before I started this program... or lifestyle change as I like to call it... Then: Weight: 15 st 11 3/4 pound Energy Levels: Shite Excercise: Sporadic and no structure Diet: Processed Foods, Beer and Choc Biscuits I went on holidays in July and felt massive. Big belly. Self conscious. Drinking every day and not enjoying it. No energy for kids or wife... just felt so down. Now: Weight: 15 st 4 pound Energy Levels: Thru the roof Exercise: Gym (weights) 5 times a week. Minimum of 10K steps a day Diet: Whipe Foods. Very little bread and Meat. Healthy Snacks I feel so much better. Started going for bike rides with my youngest daughter. Walking to shops instead of driving. Playing better golf. More energy for my wife 😉😉. Im saying I was perfect all the time but Mark is correct, Progress over Perfection I didnt take photos before I start as I probably didnt think I would stick to it. But I pulled out some photos from this year and put the same clothes on this morning... the first 2 are before pictures... I hope u all are sling grateful and ill keep checking in, but I won't make call on Sunday 🤣🤣🤣
Day 25
Oooooh I fell off the wagon. 😳 Big time!
Yep… I fell hard… off the wagon, onto the floor and over the cliff! So … yesterday I attended a longtime friend’s father’s funeral. It was lovely but at the wake the food was Jamaican … you know… rice n peas, fried chicken, curry mutton, oxtail. So I thought … in for a penny, in for a pound. I didn’t overload my plate … I had a small bit of everything. Constantly in my head is you shouldn’t be eating this G… but I reasoned it was one day! After I had the meal OMG … I felt sooooo bloated and uncomfortable…like the old me feeling…I have to learn more about portion control. I was thinking so deep about all of this … But then I thought …… this is my culture that I know I don’t want to cut completely out of my life so I’ve just got to navigate a way around it so I can eat this food guilt free. Today … back on plan and a little wiser about my life choices 🙂

@Glenda Badal this is an amazing post... I spoke about this on the call and Mark just reaffirmed it... it isn't sustainable to be perfect all the time... and when I say perfect, I mean sticking to the program in this case, not just for 30 days, but a lifestyle change... but when you do stray off the program, this is also perfect and totally normal... but it's how you react and reset, is soo important... as Mark says we just need to plan for those days and bank some points to allow us enjoy does days and not feel guilty... but in saying that, the food you were describing sounded amazing and hope you enjoyed 😉
Day 12
Today another day in the office. Meetings….. sitting all day, no time for a walk and (again) big lunches 😬 Managed it again with my own brought lunch. While others were joying their lunch I was eating the broccoli soup. 💪🏻 Although I had to sit all day I did a 5.000 steps when I came home. The water is not a problem, 3 liters is minimum. I saved my first coffee to drink with my wife this evening. I was really looking forward. It was disappointing. It didn’t taste like before. So let’s see how this taste tomorrow morning 🤔 I planned a lot of distraction for the weekend, so Hopefully we can get through 🤞🏻 Have a great weekend all!
