Why use local service Ads?
Google Local Services Ads (LSAs) can help your business stand out! These ads highlight key details like your services, service area, business hours, and customer reviews—making it easier for potential clients to choose YOU. 🔍 How It Works: When you sign up for LSAs, you’ll create a business profile with essential details like: ✅ Business name & phone number ✅ Service area & business hours ✅ Reviews & star ratings from Google ✅ Google Guaranteed or Google Screened badge ✅ Photos showcasing your work ✅ Business bio with key highlights 💡 Why It Matters: Your ad will appear when customers search for your services. They can see your reviews, ratings, and credentials right away—helping to build trust and credibility! 📸 Pro Tip: Adding high-quality photos can boost engagement and make your ad more appealing! If you’re already running LSAs, what’s been your experience? Drop your thoughts below! 👇🔥

Thanks @Roxanne Escolano - this is great! How does Google complete the Business Bio beyond the 6 highlights we can checkmark?
How to prioritize Service Areas and Services
1) I have a client that serves more than 20 ZIP codes (each city they serve has more than two zip codes) - How would you prioritize or list those so you can reach all of them? I believe adding the ZIP codes gives the best results, but adding just the cities would allow me to cover all of the service areas - would love to hear your thoughts. 2) The same client has three basic services: remodeling, mold remediation, and water damage restoration. They have one LSA account. Do I need more than one LSA or can I target potential customers with one LSA? Thanks!

@Roxanne Escolano - thank you!
Marketing Agency Won't Transfer LSA Account
I have a client whose former agency created his LSA account and when we asked to have it transferred, their response was "we’re not able to transfer ownership or provide direct access. This is standard for Google accounts created within our agency environment." Can anyone help me figure out what my next steps are? I know that having two LSAs attached to the same GBP can cause major issues. Any guidance is appreciated.

@Roxanne Escolano thank you! Yes, we want to have it in the same vertical. They have said it is their policy to not transfer ownership. I am on the account as standard access and so I will call Google on their behalf and see what they say. Thanks again.

Google says we can set up another LSA account but the background check could take 3-5 weeks. Their vertical is busiest between mid-June through September. I am going to propose we pivot, at least temporarily, to Google Search ads but would love to get your thoughts on this. In the meantime we will go all in on review collection and getting the GBP in tip top shape. Again, would like to hear thoughts and alternatives if you have them. Thank you!
đź’ˇ Did You Know?
Did you know that it’s completely acceptable to create two LSAs serving the same areas—as long as they’re focused on different verticals? For example, a home service business offering both plumbing and water damage restoration can create separate LSAs for each vertical, even if they serve the same location. Why is this a big deal? - Better Budget Management: You can allocate separate budgets for each vertical, ensuring your spend goes exactly where it’s needed. - Targeted Leads: By separating verticals, you’re more likely to get the specific leads you want rather than competing within one shared ad. Have you tried this approach yet? What results have you seen? Let’s discuss below! 🚀

Would they share the GBP? My understanding was that having two LSAs attached to a single GBP would violate Google's ToS.
đź’ˇ Understanding Cost Per Lead & Ad Spend in Local Service Ads
Looking to maximize your return with Local Service Ads? It starts with knowing your Cost Per Lead and keeping a close eye on your overall ad spend. ✅ What is CPL? It’s the amount you pay each time a potential customer contacts you through your ad. ✅ When should you check it? Regularly! Monitoring your CPL and total spend helps you stay on budget and avoid surprises. ✅ Why does it matter? Balancing how much you spend with the quality of leads you get ensures you’re maximizing your return on investment without overspending. Got questions or want to share your own tips? @Roxanne Escolano thank you! In your experience, will setting too low of a budget create poor leads? My client is in Phoenix and he only had his budget set at $25/day $750/month. I have other clients in much smaller markets with bigger budgets who do very well with LSAs. Thanks!
