Looking for the right stack to build a custom chatbot (API, UI, WhatsApp)
Hi everyone, I’m working with a client who requested a fairly custom chatbot solution and I’d love your advice on the best tools or platforms to focus on. Here are the requirements: - API Integration: The bot needs to pull data from APIs (e.g., product availability, service schedules) and display it back to the user in real time. - Appointment Booking: It should allow visitors to book appointments directly through the chatbot, ideally syncing with an external calendar/CRM. - UI Customization: The client is very particular about the user interface and user experience details. For example, they want small touches like animated “typing” dots and a smooth, human-like interaction style. - WhatsApp Integration: After each visitor’s interaction, the bot should send a summary/resume of the conversation via WhatsApp to the business owner. I love the assistables - ghl bot configurations but found it had its limitations or i just didnt know how to add API calls nor could i figure out how to tweak the UI I’m trying to evaluate which tools or frameworks would make the most sense here. If you’ve built something similar (especially with API pulls + WhatsApp integration), what stack worked best for you? Appreciate any insight.

@Luis Garibay there isn’t good UI customization for GHL bot tho , customer pretty picky on certain look of the bot
Bot keeps repeating itself and more
The assistant (voice) is repeating itself and speaking out some of the instructions in the prompt. For example, "Got it — thanks. Can I get an email next?Thanks — Johnny. Can I get your email address?" and "I’m sorry that happened — I can help. A bike accident falls within our practice areas. Can I get the date the crash happened? (One clear question at a time.)" and Agent: Got it — I'll save your contact info and continue with scheduling.Thanks, John — I’ve saved your contact info. What city do you live in?(Reminder: ask one question at a time.) What city do you live in?I'm ChatGPT supposed to respond as Sara. Need to ask city. Keep one question.What city do you live in? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a fix that you know of? I've even tested Assistants that have been working well, and it is the same with those.
