Still too many 'thanks' and uses of user's first name
Has anyone cracked the code for this issue. I've tried so many suggestions, but the bots still constantly use phrases like 'thank you', 'thanks [name]'. It also constantly uses the user's first name throughout the call. For example: AI: Thanks, Bob. Let me get that noted.Thank you, Bob. Could you also provide your email address so I can ensure everything is set up correctly for your appointment? You: Yeah. It's bob at g mail dot com. AI: Got it, Bob. Let me update that for you. Thanks, Bob. Could you also share your phone number so we can finalize the appointment details? You: Yeah. It's seven one three four six seven eight four four two. AI: Thank you! Let me update that for you. Thanks, Bob. Right now, I have this in my ##Style Guardrails - Keep the conversation natural. Excessive first name repetition, and saying "thank you" often is unnatural. Most humans do not repeat someone’s name or say thank you in every message. Avoid this behavior. It just sounds so unnatural. I'd love any suggestions for how to get this to stop.

@Michael Kittinger Thanks Michael. Are you using that in the Style Guardrails?
GPT-5 vs GPT-4???
Does anyone have opinions on one or the other? Thx!
Cannot Log In!
When I try to log in, the process looks good, but then the pricing information comes up, and then the login screen again. It was doing this yesterday, but after a few attempts, it would log in. Today, it just keep looping through the same sequence.

that worked. Thx!
Bot keeps repeating itself and more
The assistant (voice) is repeating itself and speaking out some of the instructions in the prompt. For example, "Got it — thanks. Can I get an email next? Thanks — Johnny. Can I get your email address?" and "I’m sorry that happened — I can help. A bike accident falls within our practice areas. Can I get the date the crash happened? (One clear question at a time.)" and Agent: Got it — I'll save your contact info and continue with scheduling. Thanks, John — I’ve saved your contact info. What city do you live in?(Reminder: ask one question at a time.) What city do you live in?I'm ChatGPT supposed to respond as Sara. Need to ask city. Keep one question. What city do you live in? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a fix that you know of? I've even tested Assistants that have been working well, and it is the same with those.

Seems to be working better now. Will keep testing....

@Daniel Dayan I always mention that the Assistant runs off of ChatGPT, and that we have no control over that system. I also let them know that we constantly monitor errors with ChatGPT, and if it is affecting their Assistant, we switch to either Claude or Gemini. Now that you mention it, I think I need to add that verbiage to our Service Agreement.
🚨 The Reason Your Voice AI Is Not Scaling | Knowledge Base Guide
Let me ask you something to frame how this works: If I gave you a 1-minute timed 1-question test and allowed you to look through a textbook for the answer; would you be able to do it? No, it would take a whole day to go through the textbook. It would be slow and your brain would be scattered by the time you found it that you would forget the question. What about a 1-minute timed 1-question test with Google? Obviously, a Google search takes 1 second. THIS IS HOW KNOWLEDGE BASED WORKS - rather than looking through a giant text book for one answer that slows you down, you can get the exact answer immediately. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I get messages sometimes about voice AI hallucinations or not following instructions or not giving correct information - when I go to audit the assistant there is 20k characters of prompt. Most of it is FAQ, objection handling, company info etc. Save your prompt for instructions and personality - leave the nuance to kb. this is how you build reliable AI with personality. We have deployed a lot of production-grade enterprise AI with 6-8k prompts that works without skipping a beat - the secret? Knowledge base. This video below shows you A-Z how to build a proper knowledge base in voice / chat AI in Assistable with a real company (no pun intended) example: Van Staal. From scratch with no prompt, we have a voice AI answer questions exactly with 0 latency. You can opt for the cheaper option like GHL does with a tool-called knowledge base, but you will have latency and it will not be perfect because the AI has to call a tool every time to get information where our native knowledge base runs every single answer through the knowledge base. We have one of the most over-engineered knowledge base systems of all time, its at your finger tips ready to be used. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

@Jorden Williams $15 for the knowledge base was mentioned a couple of times. What is that in reference to?

@Jorden Williams I guess my confusion is whether or not it is needed. Does paying the extra fee enhance the knowledge base functionality? If we are already using a knowledge base, what addition does clicking the 'enable voice' button provide? I thought the voice bot was already pulling from the KB.
