I know it’s 10% and the code works out to 10% but the website banner has 20%

@Romeo Arabov figured it was a mistake. Wouldn’t have minded the 20% though.
Breaking Down Energy Peptides: My Complete Tier List
Hey everyone, I wanted to try something different today and create a comprehensive tier list breaking down the most popular energy peptides in the research space. PSA Much Better On Substack: https://derekpruski.substack.com/p/breaking-down-energy-peptides-my If you've been following my work at PeptidePrice.store, you know I'm all about transparency and helping people make informed decisions. So I thought it would be valuable to share exactly how I view these compounds and why I rank them the way I do. Understanding Energy Peptides Before we dive into the rankings, let's clarify what we're talking about. Energy peptides primarily work through two mechanisms: 1. Mitochondrial optimization - Improving ATP production and reducing oxidative stress 2. Metabolic enhancement - Increasing NAD+ levels and improving glucose utilization These compounds don't give you a caffeine-like jolt. Instead, they work at the cellular level to improve your body's fundamental energy production systems. My Energy Peptide Tier List 🔴 S Tier (Best-in-Class) SS-31 (Elamipretide) This is the gold standard for mitochondrial protection. SS-31 is a potent mitochondrial protector that enhances ATP output while reducing oxidative stress. The research behind this compound is incredibly robust, and it's specifically designed to target damaged mitochondria. If you're serious about cellular energy optimization, this belongs at the top of the list. MOTS-C A mitochondrial-derived peptide that directly boosts ATP production and increases glucose utilization. What I love about MOTS-C is its dual action - it not only improves energy production but also helps with metabolic efficiency. Perfect for those looking for "clean" energy without the crash. 🟠 A Tier (Excellent) 5-Amino-1MQ This one works differently - it inhibits NNMT, which leads to higher NAD+ levels. The result is increased metabolic rate and sustained energy. It's not quite S-tier because it's more indirect in its mechanism, but the NAD+ boost alone makes it incredibly valuable for energy optimization and fat loss support.

With NAD, I forgot where I read it at, but even with sub q or intravenous injections, there isn’t a biological mechanism to shuttle NAD into cells aside from just osmosis. That’s why people recommend NMN or NR. Maybe some of y’all have read the same.

And of course niacin.
MOTS-C: Breaking Down All The Research Protocols 🔋
I heard everyone loud and clear MOTS-C the research is all over the place what is the best research protocol. Here is the full breakdown please watch the video for my full thoughts. As always feel free to ask questions. What is MOTS-C? MOTS-C (Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA-c) is a mitochondrial-derived peptide that acts as a metabolic regulator. Unlike most peptides that are encoded in nuclear DNA, MOTS-C is encoded within mitochondrial DNA and plays a crucial role in cellular energy metabolism. Think of it as a direct communication signal from your mitochondria to the rest of your body about energy status and metabolic needs. How It Works: MOTS-C primarily works by: - AMPK Activation - Enhances cellular energy sensing and metabolic regulation, essentially acting as your body's "fuel gauge" - Glucose Regulation - Improves insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake in skeletal muscle, helping your cells use energy more efficiently - Metabolic Switching - Promotes the shift from glucose to fat metabolism, improving metabolic flexibility - Mitochondrial Function - Directly enhances mitochondrial efficiency and biogenesis (creation of new mitochondria) - Gene Expression - Regulates metabolic gene expression to optimize energy production at the cellular level - Stress Response - Helps cells adapt to metabolic stress and maintain energy homeostasis Key Benefits: ✅ Enhanced energy production and reduced fatigue ✅ Improved insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism ✅ Increased fat oxidation and metabolic flexibility ✅ Protection against age-related metabolic decline ✅ Enhanced exercise capacity and physical performance ✅ Potential longevity and healthspan benefits ✅ Improved mitochondrial function and cellular energy ✅ Better metabolic adaptation to exercise and stress ✅ May support healthy weight management ✅ Cognitive energy and mental clarity Why MOTS-C Is Unique: MOTS-C is especially interesting because it declines with age and metabolic dysfunction. Supplementing it may help restore youthful metabolic function. It's also been shown to have exercise-mimetic properties, meaning it can activate some of the same beneficial pathways that exercise does.

Currently researching with 5mg 5 days a week (every lifting day). Was split dosing that amount with 2.5 in the morning and 2.5 when lifting, but currently just 5 in the morning.

This is like asking if I would rather have chocolate ice cream or a chocolate brownie or a chocolate chip cookie. Just mix it all together somehow and give me that because I’m not choosing just one.
Adipotide (FTPP) - Has anyone heard of or used it?
Adipotide, also known as FTPP, is an experimental weight loss treatment that kills fat cells by targeting the blood supply of those cells. It was put through phase 1 clinical trials back in 2011. Without a blood supply the fat cells died which resulted in rapid weight loss and improved insulin resistance in monkeys. It's worth noting the clinical trial was performed on monkeys. I'm finding myself very intrigued by peptides that have shown notable weight loss in clinical trials besides the GLP meds. I am wondering why dealing in the world of peptides we only use GLPs for wight loss? Maybe this will be a brand-new research protocol starting in 2026 for me. Ditch the GLP and utilize the other options to see what happens. Until then, any input would be appreciated.

I know this is an old post, but found it very interesting after doing some reading on Adipotide. The weight loss in that short amount of time was very interesting. Also found it interesting that a human trial was started at MD Anderson with prostate cancer patients and stopped in 2019 with no information on why it wa stopped (I can’t find anything). My 3 thoughts on why there isn’t more on this peptide. 1) biggest cover up ever 2) in a population that already suffers from kidney problems, it probably wasn’t a good idea to give the peptide to over weight cancer patients. 3) adipose tissue is every where in the body. The peptide is likely indiscriminate to essential vs nonessential blood vessels feeding that fat If anyone had any research about the phase 1 study in humans, could you post the link here. I can’t find much.

@Lisa G the kidney affects were reversed in the human trial? I saw they were reversed in the rhesus monkey trial. I couldn’t find much with the MD Anderson trial though.
