Congrats to Andy
I want to recognise one of my clients, Andy, who has absolutely crushed it over the last year. Since we started working together, Andy has: - learned to confront his workmates to protect himself from their toxic behaviours, and no longer cares about other peoples' negative opinions and judgments - trained for and completed his first triathlon (and is now training for Iron Man) - ended an unhealthy long-term friendship despite pressure from family to continue - pulled the trigger and started a new business that he was procrastinating on for years - organised an overseas trip to face fears of new/different All of these things were significant acts of courage, facing and overcoming deeply conditioned social fears and crippling limiting beliefs. Andy challenged his thought patterns, broke the goals down into tiny parts to reduce overwhelm, and completed the often challenging homework tasks to change his mindset. His son now has a role-model I'd be happy to recommend to others. He's earned it the hard way. I'm blessed to be a in a position where my clients impress me on a regular basis, I get to watch the hero's journey play out in real life.
Congrats to Andy

I'm impressed! He did in a year what took me nearly seven! What a journey! Congratulations Andy!
Who is the best role-model for confidence and integrity?
I'm keen to hear from you guys who you would recommend to others as a person to model in terms of confidence and integrity. I've often struggled with this question because I keep getting let down by people I recommend (e.g. Will Smith). I've come to realise it's pretty hard to judge accurately from a distance. Maybe someone close to you who isn't famous, like your father or a colleague at work? At this time, my favourite would have to be the crocodile hunter Steve Irwin. Who's yours?

These come to mind: Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Tim Ferriss, David Goggins, Alex Hormozi, Chris Williamson, Novak Djokovic, Richie McCaw, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tony Horton, Dan Munro... Some of them have shown major flaws or have been caught in 'dishonest behaviors' in the past... but overall I feel like they have acknowledged them, learned their lessons, moved on and kept on walking the integrity path....
How to improve the Brojo group? Your opinion wanted
Hey guys I'm doing a big planning day this weekend, and much of my focus will be on improving this community. I noticed the chat has died down a bit lately, probably because I've been posting too much content. I'd love to hear from you guys what would you like to see more of/less of in this group to make it a place that's somewhere you want to visit and interact with regularly. Comment below with your ideas, or simply click some of the options I've posted in this poll

@Daniel Munro Hi Dan, I agree with @Safiul Basher. Concepts such as engagement, peer support, accountability, constructive feedback, empathy, commitment, guidance, measuring/tracking and rewarding come to mind. Rather than watching/absorbing/reading more content, the focus could go more around doing, executing, building, showing up, sharing, supporting, etc. (action-based). On this note, in case you didn't see it, I provided some ideas around the 30-day challenge you've proposed under the Squid-game post: https://www.skool.com/brojo-the-integrity-army-6491/wanna-play-squid-games Cheers, Christian

Hey guys, thanks for all your feedback on improving the group. One main idea coming through is 30 day challenges. Something fun and practical we can do together as a group. I wanted to put a twist on this, incorporating some kind of playful competitive element that will push us to really step up. Here's the idea: Squid Game 30-day Survival Challenge I'd start the month with some kind of themed challenge, e.g. Assertiveness. A few times per week there would be some small but challenging action to take that can be "proven" to the rest of the group (e.g. "Tell us about a confrontation you're avoiding" or "Screenshot a picture of you telling someone to call you instead of text" or "Post a video of you doing..."). The people who complete the challenge within 48 hours move onto the next round. Those who don't are eliminated and must wait for the next month. I'm thinking BIG prizes for the winners, like 3x months of 1:1 coaching with me for the winner (worth $6k), 3 months of free Brotherhood for the 2nd place, and maybe a Brojo tshirts or books for 3rd. What do you guys think? Let me know what this game would need to include for you to be excited about participating!

Hi Dan, I totally support the 30-Day challenges initiative.... It would give me a reason to improve + participate more + get to know other members facing similar challenges. Ideas/areas that come to mind: 30-Day Format - Habits & Routines: combat negative ones (ie. screen time, social media consumption, drinking, smoking, porn, etc.) and build positive ones (ie. meditation, fitness, productivity, reading, etc.) - Values- based Living: regular actions/behaviors related to values such as Honesty, Courage, Leadership, etc. - Social/Relational/Familial 90-Day Format - Life-changing goals/milestones - Skill Development (ie. coding, language learning, etc.) - Entrepreneurial Projects: building a side-hustle, starting a career as a freelancer or service provider, building/launching a business, creating/executing a marketing campaign, etc. I recommend a weekly or fortnightly catchup with you and the participants so that we can track our progress, hold ourselves accountable and provide/receive feedback to/from other members. Cheers, Christian
Anniversary! 12 years of coaching!
Hey everyone Today marks my 12th anniversary as a full time confidence coach. Well, I think it’s today but can’t be sure exactly. Anyway… In case I don’t do this often enough, I want to thank all of you who read my newsletters or watch my videos or listen to my podcast etc. - your support allows me to do what I love for a living. Prior to being a coach, the longest I’d last in a position/job was about 12 months before I got bored and either moved on or tried to get promoted. I guess that means I’ve found my thing! It was hard going at the beginning. I started doing it on the side of my regular job for about 8 months, then took the leap and went full time. The first few years were rocky financially and I worked way too hard and was pretty stressed out a lot of the time. Then things smoothed out over time, and now I only get stressed when I’m self-sabotaging. The business itself is now well established, with a core audience (you guys) who are enthusiastic about living with integrity. I used to dream of changing the world, but that was just egotistic bullshit. I’ve finally learned that I should consider myself lucky to even slightly influence a couple of people towards being more confident. It takes everything I’ve got just to coach a few guys and girls to becoming self-confident and living with integrity, and I’ve learned to appreciate that and stay focused on my little tribe. To my paying clients and customers, you allow me to do this work full time and put food on my table and support my family. I never lose sight of my appreciation for you. Not just for the cash you fork over, obviously, but for allowing me to have a privileged position in your life, for your trust and honesty and bravery. You take a risk when you let me influence you, and I’m humbled that you’d allow me to effect the direction your life takes. Most of my own self-development has come from being a coach, because I’m regularly inspired and shamed by my work with clients into holding myself to a high standard. When I first started coaching, I considered myself more “advanced” than my clients. The level of confidence in my clients has since improved dramatically, and now I regularly find myself challenged to live up to the same standards you guys live by.

Thanks for being there when I needed it! You, Mike and Brojo were instrumental to get me started with my NGS recovery and journey.... To say that you've influenced me over the past 8 years would be an understatement. Nowadays I live and breathe integrity + live by my core values + don't fear or avoid confrontations anymore. Keep up the good work Dan! Cheers, Christian PS: Ever thought of becoming a 'Green Pill Coach' to help guys struggling with Red Pill Mindsets, Behaviours and Results?
