Speaking of Dale Carnegie....When first starting out (many) years ago, my employer paid for me to take the Dale Carnegie Sales Course. How To Win Friends was 1 of the 3 main required readings, another was How To Stop Worrying & Start Living, and the 3rd was The 5 Great Rules Of Selling, which was written mid-century (old school but still relevant). The latter was good for a newbie to instill a very personalized approach which has been very effective for me, and helped to stand apart in the tech industry.

@Sebastian Gerhardt - (Said jokingly...) Do your insurance sales increase based on which magic acts you do at an event? Seems like good synergy. I imagine acts with knives and/or fire might cause people to think about buying more insurance 😀
