You Should Be Embarrassed
Have you ever found yourself after a conversation with a guest (aka: prospect) and feeling embarrassed because: 1. You said the wrong thing 2. You found yourself stuttering way too much! 3. You were using "filler" words like "Um", "Uh", "Like, you know" You know you can avoid these things. What you need to do is suck it up and PRACTICE (for real). The best at anything put in the repetitions BEFORE game time. This way when it's time to play for keeps they are ready. If you're not ready, it's simple. IT'S YOUR FAULT. Truth hurts huh? When you are having a great conversation with a guest. They tell you they need what you have. And then they blurt out: "I want to think about it." or "I'm going to do more research" Be honest. How does that make you feel? Your guest is stopping from moving forward out of FEAR. Your reaction to their fear is likely repelling them even more! This is the problem. Most people don't want to face this. Sales is a PROCESS. If you don't get mastery over the process, you will have to face MORE objections than you have to. Objections are normal.
