Hi Paula! I am not sure if there’s anywhere in the WPA classroom that helps with on boarding, but I got a lot of help from Jennifer and her build your classroom calls. But to be honest, I am still working on my on-boarding module in my own classroom, and my on-boarding process in general. When I launched my club, I didn’t have anything really! I have built & adapted as I went. We just began! Together. Me & my founding members. They all came in at a discounted price, so it took a lot of pressure off. Without knowing much about where you are exactly I would just say- don’t worry about being perfect and none of your members know what your vision is, so to them nothing is missing!

@Paula Pister I would recommend offering a 1:1 on boarding session for each member in the first month, giving them a couple weeks to land. You can walk them through anything that may be unclear for them & it can be a great eye opener as to what you need to create for a more automated system for your club & members.
Not MIA.
I am not actually missing. I am bringing more people into my club from my cleanse. Today's sale happened as I did the follow-up call after the cleanse with a former member of my Vibrant Living Tribe. I gave her the first month of the VLT as a bonus for taking the cleanse. She signed up for the free month. I hope to move her into the year-long program. I offered her 50% discount on the tuition. So we have another temporary member of the tribe. April 28-May 3 I will be in San Francisco at the Anusara Yoga Kula gathering. I am teaching 3 practice sessions during the conference. I am there to refresh my own practice and teaching skills and recharge my batteries. It suddenly feels like sales sessions are not as scary as they used to be. Sending big hugs to all especially to @Valerie Hwang Beck @Nina Pullella for their support in helping me hone my sales skills. I am listening to Cate's club growth call on 4.23.

Incredible Jackie!!! Thank you for sharing your process of evolution with sales- all of it. The highs, the lows….its so inspiring to witness! Continue keeping us updated, super curious to see if you’re able to sign on this new member after her trial month. I’m interested to give this a try in Fall….
Perfect member slipping away
Has anyone made offers after the intial sales call to make it possible for a member with $ and spouse objections to join IF they KNOW this member would add SO MUCH VALUE? I'd hate to see my member not join because of it. Also don't want to sound desperate, but I'd LOVE her in my group.

My first members were a combination of: - 4 at "founding members price" ($2,400 in full or $3,000 spread out monthly at $250/month) - 1 at $1,200 (she is a former employee & friend) - 3 free (both of my Nina Cucina managers + a bestie) It felt really good have the momentum & I was grateful to be getting paid anything while I built my club. I had nothing in my classroom, built as I went, but I was still providing a great experience. And knowing that they were getting a great deal took a lot of pressure off of me when my pitta perfectionism started to flare. Out of the3 free members 2 of the free members fell off pretty quickly, but they actually didn't ask to be in club. I just gave them access as a benefit, like health care, as a perk with their management position. I've been following along with the Maggie saga, and I'm so bummed to hear her husband isn't on board! I also heard you mention today on the sales call that you already offered her a discount. I wonder if you could work out a trade of some kind? Could she help with making content or assisting you in any way?

@Paula Pister I think that’s a good plan, giving her some space to let the dust settle while keeping the door open. We need to trust that we can only do so much, can’t force, and as long as we are doing all we can in the sales process the right people will magnetize towards what we’re building. BTW the woman who booked the discovery call from my website that I was preparing for on yesterday’s sales call (cold lead, no idea how she found me) bailed 1 hr before our appointment. At least she messaged me & didn’t no show like others who’ve booked the same way. She responded to my email letting her know what to expect on the call & said “I just want to know about your services”. i.e. she didn’t want tell me about where she is now & her goals. (Sigh). I responded, let’s see if she rebooks. Go sales!
Transformational Framework?
I'm curious if anyone here follows a specific framework for the transformational journey in their club. With my background in L & D I think a lot about how people learn, but as a coach I am not more interested in how people transform (as we know, information does not automatically equal transformation). I was introduced to Theory U from the Presencing Institute, but would love to hear from members of this community if they follow a specific approach.

I don’t currently have a framework, except my annual calendar wheel that I follow with monthly themes. It becomes a bit unique with rolling enrollment too, people coming in a different stages. I would love to explore this with you!
