Drills that translate
Pro tip: incorporate movements that translate to what we have to do on the field. Here Iโm demonstrating a drill I love to use on my sprint days. Emphasizing creating the right angles and putting force into the ground correctly. Iโve always felt that this drill has a direct correlation to getting a good jump and explosive first few steps. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Toxic people in LL
You guys ever deal with toxic kids/parents/coaches in the little league setting? Whatโs the craziest thing youโve dealt with? Iโm starting to catch a glimpse of it at the 9u level and am approaching our 1st tournament in Nov. Heard the tournament life is gnarlyโฆ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ

I have a 12 year son and we have definitely come across our fair share of toxic coaches. Just last weekend watched a coach belittle a player, from the 3rd base coaches box, because the kid slipped out of the batters box. Iโve seen teams pull players for making errors and play with 2 outfielders. Every time I think Iโve seen it all something else happens. My advice is just pay attention to the organizations that have coaches you wouldnโt want your kid playing for so you know who to avoid down the road. It does provide some good entertainment!
