Word of the Day: Leverage
Let’s talk about leverage. Every solopreneur and growing founder needs it...and it comes in two forms: delegation and automation. Both require either cash or time as an initial investment. And only one of these things can't be replaced. 👉 Where do you feel the lack of leverage most right now—delegation or automation? Drop it below and let’s talk strategy.

I have processes and then people. I need the processes before I can move to hiring people.
Getting Clear on Your Outcomes
Lately I've been sitting a lot in how to get crystal clear on the outcomes I want to create. When we are clear enough in our outcomes, then the path to produce it will become clear as well. Example: Most founders, especially when their business is small, will say 'I want sales' and do everything in their power to produce sufficient or higher revenue in their business. But, if we're really honest with ourselves, some of those sales won't align with our actual goals. Instead, we should take a closer look at exactly who we want to work with and the type of revenue we want to produce. Then, clearly define your sales goals and outcomes from here. Signing anyone and everyone will either result in high churn or frustration on your end. Neither of these are the results you REALLY wanted to produce. This can also show up in how you lead your team. Be honest about what success looks like in each role and the outcome you want that person to produce. This should be the subject of your 1:1's. There should be no room for misaligned expectations. The truth is - clarity in outcomes should be a top priority in every single part of your business. And you should have a clear metric you can measure to see how you are stacking up towards reaching that outcome. And these should cascade to other elements of your business and each team member. So, as we kick off Q4 with our eye to 2026, I want to know: What outcomes are you committed to producing and how clearly have you defined them?

I am committed to handing over entry-mid level tasks. I have the steps in place to ensure a solid foundation, now it’s time to start working towards creating those policies and procedure outlines!
Weekends?
Quick poll - who here works on the weekends? For me, I often work on the weekends for a few reasons. A) I get time to think with very few distractions B) I can focus on client work and calls during the week C) My family and I travel full-time, so we like to adventure into the more touristy areas during the week and do school/work on a weekend day Today, after getting so, so much work done to our RV this past week, we are visiting the RV Hall of Fame in IN and then finally getting on the road to our next destination. But, I'm kicking off my morning working on some things for YouTube and month-end items for my 1:1 clients. How about you? If you do work on the weekends, share your why and insights below...

Depends on deadlines. Some Saturday's are half days and others are full days.
What's your dream role in your business (you know...when you're not doing ALL the things?)
Today - I want to talk about one of the $1M destinations that most founders put on hold until "the cash/timing is perfect." But, to do that - I have to introduce you to a new definition first. I have a very different definition of leadership than most people. It was introduced to me by some amazing people and has changed both mine and my husband's lives. Leadership = creating a future that wouldn’t otherwise exist and fulfills, or attempts to fulfill, on the needs of all parties. Those parties - they include YOU. If your future is built on staying stuck in doing all the tasks you hate, it 's not fulfilling on your needs and desires. So, we have to create it differently. That's why this week’s focus is: Your Ideal Role. Step 1: Write down what only you can do. And the work you love. Step 2: List what drains you. Step 3: Build the roadmap to shift those tasks off your plate. Sarah, one of my clients, did exactly this. She didn't think she could afford help. But, together we made sure she could. Within just 6 months, we've completely changed her role in her business, with much more to come. What does that look like? ✅ VA → PM → and soon - Marketing + Content support 💬 So, I'm curious....what’s one thing you never want to touch again? What is the first thing you'd love to hand off to someone else? If you want to start building out this design TODAY - go into the $1M Business Plan and click on 'Your Role.' It will walk you through all the steps and the worksheet so you can build yours out today.

I am excited to delegate tasks that consume a lot of my time! Not many people can be an "all-in-one" solution 24/7, myself included. Having the confidence to hand off tasks to professionals who can complete them to my standards is a tremendous relief. One of my biggest time-consuming challenges is initial client onboarding. It not only takes time away from my to-do list but also disrupts my focus as I go back and forth. Ultimately, I have to pause my current work to complete various steps just to get started with new clients.
