My New Journey without Keto!!
So a bit of background, I did Keto previously and it worked, it was just a ton of work. I went from 285lbs down to 195lbs, before going off of it for various reasons. I wasn’t able to eat anything that I loved or enjoyed except for the meats obviously. No starch/carbs was the hardest thing. Fast forward after it I gained back and fast, got back up to 260lbs. Then came Aesthetic calorie deficit diet, didn’t believe it at first honestly, but I said why not, even if it doesn’t work, I can switch it up and get back to keto, thankfully I’ve been proven wrong. I started my new journey on April 7, 2024 at 259lbs, under my coach James. Started eating all that I loved, just had to stay within a certain amount of calories. Fast forward 4 months now, as of today August 9, I’ve lost 54lbs so far gone from 259lbs down to 205lbs. I’ve been social a lot during this journey, I’ve had my odd cheat days, i make cakes on the side so that’s hard, i literally eat everyday carbs that I love. Not a day goes by where I don’t pair a meat protein with either, rice, pasta, macaroni & cheese, potatoes (baked, mashed or air fried). Of course coupled with my calorie deficit, I take regular walks everyday to get in my steps, I also get at least 5 gym sessions in weekly. Overjoyed with my progress only 4 months in, honestly shocked it been so fast as well. I’m only 10lbs off of my lowest weight back when I did keto!! Crazy!! Can’t wait to surpass it, while eating all I love and being a lot happier. Keto works don’t get me wrong, but calorie deficit also too works and it just makes me happy! As my coach James like to say Carbs are awesome!! So glad I found this program, and can’t wait to see where it takes me!! ✌🏼
