As I was quiet on here last week thought I would add my own share from last week
So it is the season to be having parties and social gatherings for Christmas Me and my mates have one every year and it is always a blow out Lots of drink, plenty of food and then even more drinks....wellll out of my comfort zone 🤣 And it zapped my energy the next day and then all week But this is where your reason why 💪, killer habits 💪, world class basics 💪(whatever you want to call it) HAVE to kick in I was tired alllllll week. But when it was time to train (I have when I train booked in my phone diary) I trained We are doing the step challenge so even though 1 of my running days, my actual steps was only 2k....I made sure I got over 12k average for the week I had LOADS of calories on Saturday, so I made sure to plan my calories each evening for the next day throughout the week We should make memories and be Merry this time of year...BUT...we should always put the work in when we have to I was so so tired all week, but I didn't want to miss ticking my boxes The Phrase show up regardless has stuck with me for a long time and helps me get it done Whats your mindset or habits you are planning to use to get it done around the Christmas socials?

Yeah love this share Paul. The best results long term come from being adaptable, the more we can adapt (as life does throw curve balls at us) the greater our chance of continual success💪 Ahh yeah New Years is big thing there isn't it? I'll be asleep before midnight NYE 🤣 Ready to crack on with 2026
Dealing with a bad week!
I'd be curious to know how people deal with a bad week and is it really a bad week or am I just overthinking? ⚫️ I didn't log my meals consistently. ⚫️ I didn't complete all my planned exercises. Despite this- ✅I still lost weight over the last week. ✅I've noticed that I can now get into the 5th notch along when fastening my work jeans belt, before I started my health journey I was struggling to fasten it on the 3rd notch. ✅Started a YouTube vlog on my weight loss journey in the hopes to inspire others as well as be accountable myself. I think it's easy to focus on the negatives but the reality is, bad weeks do happen and despite that there's still going to be positives. It's about finding them and focussing on them rather than dwelling. I've been in my head that I'd not done great the past week but looking back it's not been as bad as I thought. I just wish I could snap out of the thought process easier. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated 💪🏻🙌🏻.

Love the honest share mate. And the cool thing was it was only a "bad week" by the standards you have set for yourself. Because you still communicated with me, did your check in, and dropped weight. Yes we want to always tick the boxes and push as well as we can, but the reality is there are weeks that its about just showing up Which is exactly what you did mate and still saw progress 💪

Putting in the effort and taking off the runs. Tuesday was minus 12,770 for long run and today I need to hit 21k to account for 9191 on my interval run. Of course I keep working it out to be exact 🤣🤓
