On this Palm Sunday my outfit portrays the week called Holy Week. Irrespective of one’s personal beliefs this week was significant enough to define events that has lead to the way all humans count time itself in years. This week begins with a bright celebration followed by poignant moments and the darkest of moments followed by an exceedingly bright moment. Not to be too heady but my OOTD is a series of contrasts as well. Dark brushed cotton burgundy blazer Light blue CT linen/ cotton shirt Wool challis green with red paisley tie Two Pocket squares green and burgundy Steel blue trousers (man made materials) Cashmere socks Alden shell cordovan loafers Caravelle Bulova watch •Dark / Light : burgundy jacket with light blue shirt { very dark and very light events this week} • Spring / Fall: wool tie with linen shirt { a new covenant following a previous one } • Expensive/ Not expensive: $60 jacket find and cheap trousers with cashmere socks and shell cordovan shoes {a very costly sacrifice in exchange for some thing that is free} What ever your belief system is brothers, I hope your week is blessed.

Looking great!
Shirt Question
Gentlemen, As I worked towards bettering my style and my weight loss journey simultaneously I found that some of my clothing is getting a bit too big on me now. Primarily my T-shirts and polo shirts I wear to work. I went to my local department store at the mall to try on some more shirts and found that the XXLT in some brands are still a bit too snug but still entirely too long. My question is is it worth it to have T-shirts and cheaper polo shirts tailored so that they fit better? The last thing I want to do is spend two or three times the value of a shirt that might not last a long time, especially with me still actively losing weight. . Thank you so very much, Bobby

@Alan Dormire really, I’ll have to see if I can find that. My search abilities didn’t seem to like me for this topic haha. Thank you!
5 men's fashion brands. Wow
What do you think? What is quality and value name brands? https://youtu.be/THeUxp3K71o?si=JJUrUxrke95tgwpB

I knew some brands were marked up mainly due to name and marketing, but wow. This was very eye opening. It’s making rethink on how I’m planning on building an interchangeable wardrobe. I’ll have to research more into the brands I was looking at. Thank you for sharing this
Here’s a Thought
To be happy you must eliminate two things: the fear of a bad future and the memory of a bad past. Seneca

3/28/2026 Today’s Win
I stopped by a chain menswear shop to check out a sale. While I was there a wing collar shirt on clearance. Then talking with the clerks I mentioned how I would like to pick up some Winchester shirts. One clerk said that they had.a couple in my size that had been returned as the sleeves were too short. They brought two shirts out and I tried them on. They fit like they had been made for me. The shop gave the two shirts to me. When I got home Robin said to call the shop and to ask about more about the measurements. They had no more information on the measurements but mentioned that there was more shirt and thet would put it aside for me. So I am grateful for the shirts. Edit: in all fairness, I forgot to mention, one cuff is monogrammed with some one else’s initials so the shirts could not be sold in the shop.
