SOTD: Gdansk by Gallivant.
Again I don't want to bother you with Fragantica's description, but my own appreciation of it. This is my oldest son favourite perfume, as the first notes unfold, the amber wraps around you like the warm glow of a sunset in the desert, reminds me of a radiant, and golden sunset watched from Mount lemon in Tucson, Arizona. There’s a subtle sweetness, but it’s grounded by something darker, richer, like the memory of a treasured heirloom, something I can´t put my words into. Then the woody scent takes center stage: a forest at dusk, ancient and wise, with whispers of cedar and sandalwood carried between the trees. Again reminding me of Lake Patagonia in Nogales, Arizona. Finally, the leather surges—supple and refined, like a well-worn jacket. It’s not overpowering but assertive, leaving an impression of quiet confidence and elegance. Sometimes I use my kids fragrances as they have a much larger collection. Note: the first picture is mine, the other two are taken from different websites.
