Just got into men’s fragrances. The start of my collection:
-Prada Paradigm -Bleu De Chanel EDP -JPG Le Male Elixer Absolu -JPG Le Male OG (sampler vial) -D&G The One EDP -TF Ombré Leather -Creed Aventus -PDM Greenly Couple months in and this is what I got so far. Pretty happy with what I got so far. Bleu and TF leather I like but are my least favorite of my collection. Just not as special as the others to me. Might wind up trading or replacing those at some point. Any advice on what I should get next to kind of round out my collection? Some scent profiles I should get that I don’t already have? I’m not a huge fan of boozey scents at all (I don’t drink and don’t like to smell like I do).

@Jeff Beason thank you! Yes once the weather starts warming up a bit more I plan to expand my collection with more warm weather ones. Any in particular YOU like?

I’ve had my eye on those first 3. Definitely gotta try them.
Today at the gym a guy had a fragrance on I thought I recognized…
I’m pretty new to the fragrance world and just started my collection a month or two ago. This dude had a LOT on so the sillage was like 30 ft lol. I was almost certain it was Prada Paradigm since that is one in my small collection and it smelled pretty similar. I asked him and turns out it was a Hugo Boss fragrance. I didn’t get which specific one (language barrier issues prevented our conversation to continue much further) but I’m curious which one it is. Any ideas? Similar to Paradigm (I know it’s not a very unique scent) with crazy performance/projection? I want to try some Hugo Boss fragrances eventually but want to know which one his was so I know NOT to get that as it will be too close to Paradigm.
“Elixer” “Absolu”
Do these terms actually mean anything specifically with fragrances or are they just buzzwords used to label a new flanker?

@Mark DiCiero aaaaah makes sense. I figured that’s what it was. Same with “intense” and “extreme” and “‘exclusive” I’m assuming.

Old display got a bit tight so I cleared out some room on another shelf and moved most of the designers to it. It’s a temporary fix until I find a nice cabinet for them all. (Wife took the liberty of adding some of her travel and smaller bottles to my Dua display)

I’ve been real curious about that white Valentino.
You want to use AI on here? Be my guest!
I have no problem if someone wants to use AI. I don't know their situation. Maybe they're clumsy with words or they're embarrassed about their ability to spell. Or maybe they're just lazy. Who cares. If they want to use AI or have their 3rd grade kid write their review, it makes no difference to me. And who am I to criticize someone else's choices. At the very least, they bothered to ask AI to write a report. If they copied and pasted, at least they're showing that even in the smallest way, they want to be part of this community. Bullying takes many forms. And let's not kid ourselves what this is. I've been bullied enough in my life to know it when I see it. If I don't want to read someone's copy and paste job, I won't read it. Seems like a better way to go than telling someone else how to behave. You wanna show someone how knowledgable you are? Fine. But don't bother if you're not going to be respectful about it. Let's keep our eye on the ball and have it as a given that certain comments are out of line. I know I may have crossed a line or two here and there, but I will do my best to watch myself going forward.

Ai sure is a hot topic since it’s so new. Some love. Lots hate. But it’s the same as any other new technology. Any of us old enough to remember when the internet came out. Email? We had plenty of doomers and skeptics crapping on it. Where are they now? All with iPhones and smart TVs and the like. Go back further. Tractors. Cameras. Cars. When they all first were invented the doom and gloom were rampant just the same. Jobs were lost but new jobs were born. History repeats.

40 year old who never put much thought into dressing classy at all until now. Pretty much starting from scratch with a very low budget.
