Christmas shopping…
Has anyone started their Xmas shopping yet? I’m curious because well I’m in ecom and things feel like they are kicking off a bit slower than other years… With kids and husband all having bday within 6 weeks of Xmas I need to spread out the shopping and I haven’t really done that this year 🙃

@Michelle McCartney gosh I haven’t thought ahead for that yet honestly. Excited to see what others are thinking!
❤️How many of you struggle with mom guilt?
Sometimes we can have expectations on ourselves that are way above and beyond what is reasonable. Like: 💃I need to make $10k per month, homeschool my kids, make everything from scratch, keep a perfectly tidy house, and do it all without causing anybody to feel like they have a need that's unfulfilled. 👉The reality is that most of the time, this is unsustainable (or unrealistic) and even if you do figure out how to do it, it'll take a lot of time of trial and error, progress, and practicing different systems until you find what sticks. So, we get frustrated in the process, feel like we're failing everybody, and either give up or hate ourselves in the process. 💝What if we gave ourselves grace instead? What if we figured out what life we actually WANT to live and then tried to set up systems for that with the understanding that it'll take time and a lot of trial & error to become that new person? 🌈It doesn't mean we settle for a subpar life because we think our dream is unrealistic. It means we give ourselves grace, patience, and love in the process. 👇In what ways do you feel like you're struggling and what is a mindset shift you can make to help you give yourself some grace while you learn?

@Michelle McCartney we're wild out here lol
Do you ladies have any routines?
I am in the process of re-vamping my routines (now that schooling is back in session and i'm homeschooling multiples this year). I am working on waking up earlier and being a little more intentional about my routines (and putting more effort into enforcing them more strictly). Here's 3 different routines that I just wrote out yesterday. Morning Routine (in order of activities done): feed and change babies prayers exercise routine make & eat breakfast do the dishes brush everyone's teeth, hair, wash face, get dressed take morning supplements Homeschooling Routine: 6 year old: 5 pages of language arts curriculum reading cards 5 pages of math curriculum page in science curriculum page in handwriting practice 4 year old: 5 pages in preschool workbooks End of day chores (in order of activities done): dishes wipe down kitchen sweep & mop kitchen tidy up toys, trash, clothes scoop litter box wipe down bathroom sweep & mop bathroom brush teeth, wash face, get into pajamas prayers (if there's still time before bedtime) family story time How do you guys manage kids and a house and what routines do you have in place to help?

@Karen Castillo I'm currently in Houston temporarily but I'm not originally from here. I'm a Disney/Universal gal so want to be as close as possible! Plus just ready for a new way of life, new city, new people, and lots of opportunities!

@Karen Castillo Yes lol VERY familiar with heat and humidity! Haha! I love that you can do that living close by. Definitely the vibe I want. Don't get me wrong, I love planning out our vacations to the tee and maximizing 5-6 days in the parks! But... I'm REALLY looking forward to just showing up and enjoying the atmosphere without feeling like I need to go-go-go 😅
🎥Content Challenge: Part 2
Part 1 helped you guys generate 30 different angles to make your content around, now let's prep the platform! ❤️My top recommendation for content is Youtube. It acts as a search engine to help you get leads once you are consistent and good enough AND it also provides a ton of videos that you can send to people if they are struggling with something you've made a video about. 👇So, if you have a youtube channel, drop the link below and who the type of person is who might enjoy your content and let's all follow the channels that we'd probably watch 💝and i'll also throw in a Youtube channel roast to 3 random people

Here's my channel! https://www.youtube.com/@beckyteresa Nothing on it yet but will be recording vids to post ASAP this week with the handy dandy list you had us create! If you pick winners for the roast - could they be at the end of the month so we have a chance to record the 30 vids from the list by then hopefully? lol 🤪
