NEVER too old to change!!
I wanted to just take the time to encourage those here that may feel stuck! While this is a picture of me (before/After) I didn't feel it belonged in the "Wins & Gratitude" section because I would rather this empower others. I have always believed that age is just a number, and you get to decide how you age and what kind of attitude you have. We all have our own journey but I'm here to say that you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to!! I am a late teen cancer survivor, I was given less than 5% change of living and I'm here almost 40yrs later. I walked around for 3 days with a ruptured appendix and was told I wouldn't leave the hospital. I've had numerous surgeries, that have affected my body and posture and has lead to a serious back issue. I decided in an effort to try to stop a 3 level spine fusion that I would work with my doctor, chiropractor and Pilates instructor to see if I could change my posture "just enough" to increase the space in my lower back. As you know I commissioned a bespoke Blue Blazer as a gift to myself. My Tailor sent me this picture the other day with the caption "Who's this guy?" The picture the right is me in mid June for my first consult for the blazer. The picture on the left is me last week! There's only about 8-10lbs difference in weight. The real difference is my posture! How pilates has helped so far and how it even changed the distribution of my weight. I'm not telling this story for sympathy, I'm telling this story to hopefully inspire others to know that YOU can do it too! Life is what you make of it!! Make it great!! I have a wonderful wife and children that I was NEVER supposed to have and if I listed to the doctors at 19 I wouldn't have them nor this wonderful group of men here lifting each other up! Thank you @Antonio Cent for putting this group together and thank you all for your continued inspiration! 🙏

Looking good, great attitude, very inspiring. You have overcome a lot, very well done.
A Strange Feeling
I recently bought some new shoes, jeans and a decent shirt. I generally dont wear shirts. I actually got compliments on what I was wearing. That has never happened to me as I have never dressed well my entire life... It's a good feeling but so new to me. I must be doing something right.

@Fernando Mendoza Yeah, and it's an incentive to keep going in the right direction.
The First 50
In May I started my weight loss at 323lbs. I told my wife that after I lost 50 lbs I was going to have some pizza. Well Tuesday of this week I officially hit that first 50lb mark and we just got done hosting the kids and the grandkids and some friends over for pizza. It was a lot of fun, but I think I realized that I don’t miss the pizza as much as I thought I did. Now I need to figure out how to celebrate the next 50lb loss.

Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Navy Blazer? Never heard of it😏
For those new to the community last fall on a challenge I wore a Navy blazer 70 straight days. It is the most basic item a man can have in his wardrobe. 20 years ago everybody knew that. Today I’m not so sure. One step down from a suit it can be worn with a deep grey trouser and a bow tie and be just two steps back from a tux in many cases or paired with a polo shirt and jeans. Its versatility and history is unmatched. The attached pic by JPress is as Classic American as it gets: 3/2 brass button, sack fit, hooked welted single vent, doeskin (also known as a Garnett flannel or summer flannel), with flapped patch side pockets. They paired it rightly with a longer collared blue Oxford button down with a tie (button downs have been worn with ties for a very long time my brothers, in spite of recent fashion trends that suggests they are “only” worn without a tie). They accessorized it with a classic three stripe tie (also known as a two bar tie-look at it and it will make sense). The only difference between this look and what I sold maybe hundreds of times is that I would have chosen a different color tie (not a fan of navy on navy 🥱) not only boring but shades can vary. But it’s not “wrong”. Anyway. JPress is one of the last clothiers to cling on to these Classic timeless elements. But then again. Who would ever wear a navy blazer🙄😜 https://jpressonline.com/products/navy-doeskin-3b-sack-classic?_pos=1&_sid=596b052e8&_ss=r&utm_source=Core%20Engaged%20-%20Never%20Purchased%20%5BNRS%5D&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=9.29%20-%20DOESKIN%20%2801K6ASP5YX8F15EA8ZPQDKR1QF%29&bxid=01J050EZ7PVMZY2ZDMX4N13W2J&_kx=D_j68B3ZeUB9t3j3UDW6FK80pDkeZJlNrHTIchbFbBy9YpNAX7Ou0zIsj1nO4vp2.Mhfb34

I am new here and a bit clueless regarding style, I never would have expected that a blazer could be dressed so many different ways.... It's like some sort of wizardry... Great style and very inspirational.

@Brian McGuire I am lucky enought to have purchaces a good charcoal suit a number of years ago from when I graduated college. I havent had a chance to wear it since then. I am slowly building more items. Seems that the next on the list will be a blue blazer. Thanks
