Welcome to Mineral Mirror Monday: Holiday Edition
This season, your body is whispering louder than your to-do list. While the world wraps presents, you’re wrapping emotions. While the kids bounce off walls, your nervous system hums like faulty Christmas lights. While you smile through the chaos, your jaw stays clenched. You’re not broken. You’re just depleted. Today, we pause. We listen. We ask: What mineral am I today? Because your symptoms are symbols. Your cravings are clues. And your body is speaking in a language older than stress the language of minerals. Let’s decode the whispers. Let’s soften the season. Are you this…? • The one who holds it all together but forgets to breathe? • The one who’s smiling, but your jaw is clenched? • The one who’s giving everything, but your body’s giving out? • The one who’s glowing for everyone else, but dimmed inside? • The one who’s unraveling in the quiet moments between tasks? You’re not alone. You’re not broken. You’re just mineral-deficient—in body, in spirit, in story. What if your symptoms were signals? What if your cravings were codes? What if your body was trying to tell you a story and minerals were the missing language? Your symptoms are symbols. Your body is speaking in minerals. What mineral are you when… • You’ve wrapped 37 gifts but forgot tape. • Your kid is melting down in aisle 7. • You’re smiling through clenched teeth. • Your nervous system is singing Jingle Bells in Morse code. Another great post @Dr. Peninah Wood Ph.D ! I would say a lot of people's nervous systems are feeling somewhat frazzled this year for sure... like permanently plugged in Xmas lights!!
Do you trust your own RHYTHM?
Helping clients listen to and trust their own rhythm is a big part of our work together. I’ve been up close and personal to this work myself this year. I had to slow down and intentionally change my rhythm. It’s been a tough year. ❤️‍🩹 I had a cardiac event and spent 3 days in the ICU. A few months later, my husband had open heart surgery. It’s been a lot. My pattern has always been to just get busy and work harder. Life is showing me I can’t do that anymore. If you’re like me, and are afraid of slowing down, please make a change. Life is not a race. It’s not about who can achieve the most or get there faster. In fact, there’s really nowhere to get to. Living your life is actually about BEING HERE. So please stop missing your real life by chasing after “better.” And start listening to and trusting what you actually need. Inner listening isn’t soft or optional. It’s the most powerful skill you’ll ever learn. It’s how you know when to move and when to stop. It’s how you choose your pace from truth instead of pressure. I’m still practicing this, but in the moments I can actually soften and trust the true rhythm, I feel how much peace and freedom it brings. Many of my clients live in this over achiever pattern of never being able to stop. It’s just a survival pattern. It’s hard to set down, because it feels like it’s served you. Like it’s what has created all your success. But I promise you there’s another way. A way where you don’t have to be pushing and figuring things out all the time. Trusting your rhythm isn’t about doing less. It’s about doing what’s honest. If you’re ready to slow down and stop trying so hard, this is one of the things we focus on in my community Activate Your Impact.  Business success isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about trusting your own rhythm and moving at the pace of TRUTH, not pressure. And the result is true freedom. 💫 💬 SHARE YOUR INSIGHTS: If you are honestly listening to and trusting your own rhythm, what is one thing you are going to do differently next year to FEEL more in alignment?

Considering we are literally "walking clocks" with our own inbuilt timing mechanism (circadian rhythm) this post is so on point @Kim Job ! My motto moving forward into 2026 is to support and nourish my CR even more than ever, whilst also working more in alignment (than on adrenaline). Ie; allowing things to flow naturally as opposed to trying to push hard which can lead to burnout.
💭 When Someone Leaves Your Group…
Oof. You feel it in your chest before you even click the name. Another member has left. And if you're anything like me, your first reaction is visceral: Disappointed. Sad. Even a bit rejected, if we’re being real. Then comes the spiralling: Should I message them? Would that be too much? What if they don’t even reply — will I take that even more personally? But here’s what I actually did I chose connection over silence. Curiosity over assumption. And what I received back stopped me in my tracks. Three women messaged me back — each with a version of the same, unexpected truth: ✨ “It’s not your group — it’s me.” ✨ “I need this kind of space, but I’m not used to letting myself have it.” ✨ “I don’t do self-care. And being in your group was a loving nudge I wasn’t ready for yet.” None of them said: “It wasn’t worth it.”“ The vibe was off.” You didn’t deliver.” Instead, they told me: "I’m not ready to stop running." "I don’t know how to rest." "I don’t prioritise me — and that’s confronting." And honestly, that hit even deeper. It reminded me that sometimes…People don’t leave because your space isn’t powerful. They leave because it is. Because you’re holding up a mirror. Because your softness challenges their hustle. Because your message makes them feel seen in ways they’re not used to. So if you're in this space-building game — inviting people into something slower, truer, more grounded — please don’t take every departure as a failure. Sometimes, they’re just not ready. And when they are, your door will still be open. 🫶✨

Great post @Julie Burns ! I think we need to remind ourselves to not take things too personally. People have busy lives these days (especially this time of year) and often don't have the bandwith to commit / comment in groups. I think a lot of people are also making a conscience effort to take time off social media / their phones etc. so just letting them do their thing and be OK with that can be a great way to frame it too.
Shift Work is Hard. Feeling Healthy Doesn’t Have to Be.
Let’s be honest – shift work is brutal on the body and mind. Sleep can feel impossible. Energy can become a distant memory. Your health? It often feels like it's slowly slipping away 😫. But it doesn’t have to be this way. I run a Shift Worker Wellness Community for people who work night shifts, early mornings, rotating rosters and everything else in between who are ready to take control of their health despite the hours they work. Inside the group, we move beyond WHAT you 'should' be doing — and focus more on the WHEN. Why? Because timing matters as much as behaviour. For example: - Exercise at the wrong time can worsen sleep - Eating at the wrong biological hour can elevate blood glucose and blood pressure - Light exposure at the wrong time can suppress melatonin and delay recovery - Caffeine used without circadian awareness can deepen fatigue cycles This isn’t about perfection. It’s about reducing biological friction in demanding roles. No guesswork. No judgment. Just real, actionable strategies you can use today to feel better, perform better, and protect your long-term health. If you or someone you know is struggling with working 24/7, then this community is for you. Join us today – your future self will thank you.

@Mary Wilmer thank you and yes, night shift in particular can be the hardest but as you eluded to, many choose to do it to avoid childcare etc. I've lost count how many people have told me they get zero training from their employers on how to navigate shift work which is what led me to do what I do today!

@Mary Wilmer yes it's crazy given many work in health care, make critical decisions, drive machinery etc. so reducing brain fog and improving mental clarity isn't a nice thing to have - it's absolutely essential!
POSTAPHOBIA (IYKYK) 😱
And if you don’t yet… you soon-ish will. Let’s crack it together. First up, I’ve been talking about this for yonks (hmmm, that's maybe a Brit saying-thinking out loud), and it came up again in a conversation with a juicy convo with @Éva Raposa (yes, she always brings those, keepin it real kinda chats), thanks for sparking back this spark btw… Anyways...It totes reminded me how many of us are carrying this quietly, especially if we’ve been in lots of different communities over time. Ok, full transparency because LOL at pretending otherwise… So, I was literally sat here thinking what the frick should I post in this group and how could it actually be useful or supportive to someone, instead of just posting for the sake of posting, pffft And then I realised… DUH… this is one of the conversations I have ALL. THE. TIME. People telling me they don’t know what to write. Don’t know what to post. Feel like they’ve got nothing to say. Feel like nobody actually cares anyway. And honestly, if you’ve ever thought any of that, you’re not broken, you’re not behind, and you’re DEFINITELY not alone. A lot of this comes from what I call POSTAPHOBIA!!!! 🫨 Yep, it’s a (mimi-fied) thing + yup, I have it too. It usually comes from being in loads of different spaces, all with different vibes, different rules, different expectations. Maybe you’ve had posts deleted before. Maybe you’ve been told “this isn’t relevant here”. Maybe you shared something once and it landed weird. All of that stuff gets stored in your body and suddenly posting feels… risky AF. Uncomfortable. Like you might do it “wrong”= internal eeeeekkk, gulp... So instead of doing something, you freeze. Overthink. Then balls to it, you do NAFF ALL, NADA, NOT A TOFU SAUSAGE. And here’s the bit I really want you to hear. We are ALL here - in SKOOL, in communities, in groups - because we have something to share. We didn’t accidentally end up here. We might be at totally different stages, with different-sized communities, different confidence levels, different energy… but we’re all here because we care about building something. A community. An idea. An impact. A business.
