Down but not out, thankyou gentlemen
I came into this group feeling positive and happy, the amount of men that welcomed me in was warming and the advice was amazing. I made a few posts the boom I disappeared, the reason a traumatic finger injury, I came very close to losing my index finger luckily talented doctors and surgeons saved it. I have a few more surgeries coming up to reconstruct it. You probably won't see many picture posts from me as it has hit my confidence with pictures. Long story short I wanted to come in and say thank you, I've been reading your posts for the last few days, some inspiring stories and many amazing outfits. So thankyou gentlemen for giving me a boost with my mental health and your kindness. And thankyou to @Antonio Centeno for creating such an amazing group of men and the work you do.
Baseball caps and suits….
What are your thoughts on baseball caps with suits. Being follicly challenged man I like to keep my head in the shade. I have to wear suits for my work and sometimes I am outside talking with contractors. I like baseball caps but always feel a little reluctant to wear them with a suit.

I'm not a fan of baseball caps with suits myself, not in a formal sense at all. It may be possible to pull off a blazer shirt and baseball cap in a more smart casual sense. Would need to be plain with no logos and a more neutral colour. I see you are also from the UK, we do tend to have more of a unwritten rule of not wearing hats with formal suits unless it's white or black tie. I can't remember if ive ever even seen anyone wearing a fedora here.
Style upgrade+ advice needed
New upgrade today after years of putting it off turns out I needed glasses all along... Bonus I feel like they fit my face, have a more stylish pair coming soon. In my last OOTD it was pointed out I should order a black belt which I did. But what colour belt would you pair with this outfit? I'm looking at light brown would that be the right choice?

@Gunny Khan the camera really hasn't picked up on the light green patterned shirt here at all. As for the jeans they are a little baggy being a new pair, I intend to get them measured out and altered this week, just waiting for some spare time to get the sewing machine out. Thankyou for the great feedback gunny.
#TrendThursday: Men’s Skincare Is No Longer Optional 🧴
Let’s cut to it, gents—good grooming isn’t vanity. It’s strategy. And one trend that’s finally getting the attention it deserves? Men taking skincare seriously. We’re talking beyond soap and water. Here's what we’re seeing right now: ✅ Daily SPF – Sunscreen isn’t just for beach days. Guys are waking up to the fact that sun damage = wrinkles, dark spots, and looking 10 years older than you are. ✅ Simplified Routines – Cleanser + moisturizer + SPF. Maybe a serum if you’re leveling up. No fluff, just results. ✅ Beard + Skin Care Integration – More men are using products that treat both their beard and the skin underneath. Less itch, better growth, sharper appearance. ✅ Anti-aging without shame – Eye creams and retinol aren’t “just for women.” They’re tools. And smart men use the best tools available. Let’s make this useful: What’s in your routine right now? What do you swear by—and what felt like hype? Drop your real-world wins (or questions) below.👇

Working in a hot kitchen all day is what made me realize this a few years ago. I would always get dry flaky skin around my nose and eyebrows from the steam and vinegar along with the hot environment. I invested in a good moisturizer, then went the full distance and got facial soaps, facial scrubs, eye creams, SPF day creams. Never turned back after noticing how much better my skin looks now. Nice and radiant instead of flaky and dull.
First Scents First
Hey gents! A little question for those of you with more knowledge of scents around here. I was at the store perusing the perfume and cologne section today (I had the day off work) and there were quite a few options to choose from. I watched a few of @Antonio Centeno’s videos on different brands and offerings before I went because I have basically no knowledge of perfumes, apart from an early 2000s tryst with Drakkar Noir. I have to admit that all of the profile information from the videos is truly lost on me, but that’s probably just because my nose isn’t keyed to picking out those various notes yet. Anyway, my real question has to do with what a good starter scent would be. I liked two today: Versace Eros and the Armani Acqua di Gio. I’m a professional, occupational therapist, so I don’t want something too overpowering to smoke out my patients, but I’d like to start introducing some scents other than Mitchum Cedarwood into my routine. Do you all have a preference or recommendation either way? Alternatively what are some other recommendations you might have? What are your go to scents gents?

I like to compare fragrances and perfumes to wine or cigars, it takes awhile to develope the nose to be able to pick up on different notes and the subtle hints. With that said it's best to just pick something that you like and wows you at the first hit. If you loved Versace eros I would recommend checking out the rest of there line, my favourites from them are oud noir and lately najim. Another two that I always recommend would be ambree by givenchy and oud Blanc by van vleef.
