Question about BOOST a PowerPost as an ad on Meta
Hey @Dan Harrison you mentioned the PowerPost strategy and that we can run it directly as an ad on Meta. I’m curious about your view on this, because in the past every specialist I worked with strongly advised against boosting organic posts. It was always considered wasted money. I’m currently running ads for @Chantal Perrinjaquet , who’s one of your Premium clients, so I want to make sure we follow the approach you’d actually recommend. A few months ago, a successful marketer I follow said boosting is now working surprisingly well on Instagram, but still not on Facebook. So I’d love to hear how you see it today? And if boosting an organic post on Instagram and/or Facebook is actually a good idea again, what format performs best in your experience? A single image, a carousel, or a video/reel or ...? If anyone else here has tested this recently, I’d be happy to hear your experience too. Thanks, Arnold

(Including this special warm up campaign which helped our new pixel but gaves us no leads btw) Finally, @Chantal Perrinjaquet and I are pretty satisfied!😊

@Dan Harrison, @Chantal Perrinjaquet Yes, Meta does spend now. We already got 18 Leads in 4.5 days with a great CPI from 20 AED = 5.50 USD (Which, in my opinion, is just great considering it's a brand new advertising account and pixel! But it's difficult to say if my solution was the "trigger" for this. My solution: I have duplicated the original campaign and switched the Performance Goal on the ad set level from "Maximize Registrations" to "Maximize Landing Page Views" to get more and faster signals for my new pixel. (CPI here is almost 400 for LP Views). If I should guess, I would say it helped! ...If only to satisfy my ego! 😂🤣

Hi @Dan Harrison I’m in your 5-Day Ad Challenge right now and I’m running a campaign for @Chantal Perrinjaquet as her technical freelancer. (She upgraded to your Premium Skool yesterday. 😎✌️🥳) I could use your take on this situation: We launched a brand-new ad account with a brand-new pixel and set up an Advantage+ Sales campaign as you have shown in your video. Everything looked good in theory, but after ~18 hours the campaign had spent only 7 AED out of 92 AED (Chantal is based in Dubai). Basically no reach, only 2 link clicks, and therefore almost zero learning signals. Because the system has literally nothing to optimize on yet, I duplicated the campaign and want to test a different setup: I kept everything identical — same Advantage+ setup — same budget — same audiences — same Ads The only change in the duplicated version: 👉 I switched the Performance Goal from “Maximize Conversions” to “Maximize Landing Page Views.” My intention: - warm up the pixel for 1–3 days - get clean traffic - let Andromeda collect real behaviour - avoid the “dead start” where the system spends nothing because it has no signals - then switch back to “Maximize Conversions” once there is actual data My question to you: Is this the right move on a brand-new Advantage+ Sales setup with a new Meta ad account and pixel? I’d really appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks. Regards Arnold PS: hope you can „read“ and interpret the screenshot, since it is on German.
