January 2nd is the day that doors open for registration to the How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass, which will be offered live on January 6th. The workshop is open to everyone (cost is $27), but if you are a Premium member who is planning on teaching a masterclass on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar, then this workshop is a prerequisite for doing that. I only offer this once every two months, but it will be recorded, and you will have access to the recording indefinitely. So, if you think you might be interested in offering a masterclass any time in the next 3 months, you will want to make sure you register for this session. If you can make it live - even better! Now, I know some of you are thinking: but I already know how to give a masterclass, I don't need to take this session. While that may be true, the purpose of the session is to let everyone know what I think it means to provide value so that our calendar is full of masterclasses that people are clamoring to take. You don't have to follow my format, but you do need to provide value. Is this gatekeeping? Yes. Is it for a good reason? Also, yes. If the calendar is full of fluffy, pitch fests that bring no value, then it's going to be a wasteland that no one looks at, and that hurts us all. My vision for the calendar is that it is a place full of very valuable learning opportunities and experiences that people are checking regularly and attending widely. I don't really want to do this because I'm not 100% sure I care about a star. I mean, I'm a competitive person, so I'm always going to strive for the star in life, but for my business, I try really hard to focus only on what truly matters - getting amazing results for my students/clients/members. Having said that, we are soooooo close to getting a star (top 30 in your category), that it would kind of be a shame to not do a final push for the top!!! Kind of. So, just to clarify, everyone is allowed to post in the community forum about their Skool group whether it is free or paid. Where there became some confusion was when people started posting other paid offers, which are reserved for the classroom (you can also post about free offers in both places). But… the rules are being changed for one day only! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!
