Overland Bomber Jacket
Hi Everyone, What’s your opinion and thoughts on these jackets. Both are from Overland. One is a Bomber jacket and the other is a longer jacket that covers below your waist. I’m in the New England area and work in the financial district; take public transit to and from work. Question: which do you think I can get more versatility out of? I already have wool long coats already, but I do like the stitching on the longer jacket.

Fall Style Battle: The Truth About "Essential" Items 🍂
Gents - I'm about to ruffle some feathers... Everyone talks about Fall "essentials," but here's what I've learned after years in menswear: Most guys completely waste their money on the wrong first purchase. I see men drop $300 on trendy boots they'll wear 5 times, while walking around in ill-fitting basics that kill their entire look. 🤔 So let me know your take: Your FIRST Fall upgrade should be... Vote below:⬇️⬇️⬇️ But here's the kicker: Defend your choice. Tell me why your pick beats the others - and don't give me generic answers. I want to know which piece has actually changed how you dress, not what some blog told you to buy. The guy with the best argument might just save someone else from making a $200+ mistake this season. 💪

I’m going to say pair of jeans a few points why: 1) larger surface area - if you are looking at your outfit, your legs are going to cover 40-50 percent of your overall figure. Not only will the jeans look good but a well fitted jeans may showcase your legs or other assets that you many want to accentuate. 2) costs per wear - if you are wearing the jeans you want to get the most bang for your buck. A dark washed jeans could be worn in always a casual setting, but pushing it, in SOME formal attire. Given the person’s line of work, jeans may not always be appropriate, but a darker washed is more casual and formal. BONUS- if it’s super dark you won’t have to worry about color fading or getting to light after multiple washes 3) comfort/confident - jeans can be comfortable if you get the right size and after broken in can fit like a glove. A good pair of jeans will serve you a good period of time, but the important thing most people forget is how they FEEL when they but the cloths on. Does it give them the confidence they need to slay the day? Will You buy the jeans on and say, “yea, I look good”

Nice job
A new lease
Grabbed my CT windo pane shirt and built from there. My oldest (10/24/95) MTM and my first suit not only fits again but I hit another record of weight I haven’t had since the early 90’s and it’s slightly large. To accessorize I grabbed a 42 year old RL red tie and my new J. Fitzpatrick cap toes along with my Pendleton black with Native American stripe red socks. Added my GOTO Seiko model 5. On the cusp of a new lease on life with this body re-sculpting business (hit 32” natural waist this AM started at 39”+ in December). Have a great hump day gentlemen
