This came from another community and it got me thinking!
I came across this gem in @Ica van Eeden 's community, UNSHKBL-WMN , and it got me thinking... The conversation was about passion and the idea that we don't need to find our passion and then move towards it. Instead, our passion comes from following our energy. It got me thinking about my own passion for childhood and youth development, neurodevelopment, and supporting expat mums in raising their children with those principles across cultures. And it's so true! My passion grew FROM my energy being drawn to working with children and raising my own as an expat. When my children were young, I had a friend whose child was born with a brain injury. In supporting her, I learned so much about the brain and became completely fascinated. ๐Ÿง  I took that knowledge and went on to homeschool my own children based on neurodevelopmental principles and continued to learn and share with other mums along the way. So yes, my passion definitley followed my energy. Not from racking my brain trying to figure out what my passion was. Does this resonate with you? I've been running mine at my own rhythm. Some weeks quietly, some weeks with everything I've got. @Angela Walker I agree - it becomes a challenge when you need to keep a pace you don't believe in. I am also following my own pace and when inspired it's faster and when I need space then a little slower. People pick up when you are just pushing for the sake of posting.
