Wild Wisdom Community…
I have a favour to ask of the membership. I’m working three more 11 hours shifts over 5 days this week. I’ve already done 2 and 3 left to go then I can dedicate my full attention to learning more about Skool and how to make this specific experience community better for us all. In the meantime, I suggest scrolling to the bottom of the community thread and checking early posts, sharing your own thoughts and discussions. I’ll do my best to check in but I can’t promise my full attention until Saturday. I wish you peace and harmony and a fruitful meditative journey in the meantime. 🙏 J

@Jessica Clish Contemplation Meditation is usually nature based and it can really give u an inspirational lift. Also, Yoga Nidra is great for that. It’s a sense orienting meditation and amazing when u don’t have time for a nap. https://youtu.be/AKGrmY8OSHM?si=MnsVZQIzQKsDpouS

@Wesley Penner I feel you! I started with Insight/Vipassana Meditation, moved to Samatha, then Metta and Karuna Bhavana and a few forms of Chanting. Now I mix it up. I use Contemplative meditation as a procrastination fighter and mood lifter. I suffer from a weird type of depression and Contemplating Nature seems to be the cure no other practice has provided. Namorkara Chanting has helped me massively with trauma. I work crazy hours and a recent personal discovery of Yoga Nidra has helped a lot with dealing with lack of regular sleep

This one is one of my favourites. It reminds me to stop indulging my limiting beliefs
Time for a routine shift…
Well I just got a great new job and it looks like I’ll have to make a shift to my steady morning routine. Prioritizing meditation is always a goal but I fear the change in my routine will take a few days to work out. Good thing my spirit animal is a mutant cat/shark (only swims forward and always lands on my feet) Does anyone else here have a spirit animal they invoke in tough times?

Time for a routine shift…
Reflection on this date:
Today, we pause to remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We honor the lives lost, the bravery of first responders, and the resilience of an entire nation that came together in the face of unimaginable loss. In the 24 years since that day, America has changed in countless ways—and one of the most profound has been our focus on safety and preparedness. From airport security to community response systems, from emergency planning in schools to the way businesses train for crisis management—our awareness and commitment to safety has grown stronger. While the scars of 9/11 remain, so does the determination to protect, to prepare, and to look out for one another. ✨ Today, as we reflect, let’s also ask ourselves: What small steps can we each take to keep our families, workplaces, and communities safer? Because honoring their memory means more than just remembering—it means continuing to build a culture of safety, resilience, and unity. 🕯️ Never Forget. Always Prepare. Always Protect.
