21 day challenge
I canโ€™t remember where I started- 137-138 range, but I saw a 5 on the scale today for the first time in months. 135.8? Hope we can keep the momentum going over the holidays!
8 lbs lost and 5 inches off waist!
Just checking in with the final measurements Iโ€™ve been tracking! (In addition to weight, my starting waist was 96cm and ended with 83cm (13cm/5inches lost). Honestly, this was one of the hardest months for me. Between submitting my final PhD dissertation two weeks ago, prepping for my defense, grading what felt like endless projects and papers for my WSU grad students (the largest class Iโ€™ve had in 6 years of teaching), navigating school and life issues/events for my 7 and 11-year-old kids, managing my psychotherapy practice, building a new business, and the rest of life...adding yet another thing would have seemed crazy, but I tried to set my mind on this not being "another task" but more of an anchor to keep me going. Having a new workout to look forward to every day and tracking my daily changes kept me grounded through all this. As @Andre Kzirian always says, it's truly all about your mindset!
21 Day Shred WINS
My wins: 5 lb loss 1 inch off shoulders .5 inch off each bicep .5 inch off L forearm 1 inch off waist .5 inch off R thigh .5 inch off L calf My mental health has significantly improved. I feel so much happier and I feel so accomplished and motivated to continue! This is the first time Iโ€™ve truly felt that this is a true lifestyle change for me. This challenge really helped me keep that mindset going! Canโ€™t wait to see your wins!!
Weight loss
Down another pound this week! That makes me 5 lbs down for the 21 day shred so far! Going to take my measurements at the end of this and share my overall results ๐Ÿ’•

Not to be all sappy but I just wanted to say that I am so motivated by everyone in this challenge!! I see you all CRUSHING it in the gym and it is so inspirational!!! It really keeps me going when I feel like I canโ€™t!!! Letโ€™s finish out these last ten days of part one STRONG STRONG!
