Clue 6 is here, and it's all about the sleeves.
Before we get into it, I want to take a moment to appreciate what's been happening in this community. Over 450 projects shared, and more than 100 finished Clue 5s already in my feed. That is quite unbelievable! 🫣 What I've been particularly enjoying is seeing the creative spins you're putting on this sweater. The body finishes, the hems, the rearranged chart motifs! They make each sweater its own thing and I absolutely love that! Keep sharing them.ā¤ļø Now, if you chose the pullover option, Clue 6 is your last clue😭. But that also means, there is no rush from here, work at your own pace and enjoy the sleeves. If you chose the cardigan option, you will undoubtedly notice what's still missing and that will be coming in Clue 7, so the mystery isn't quite over for you yet.🤩 New tutorials for this clue are also waiting for you in the Rujuu course under the Classroom tab. If you already have the pattern, check your inbox for the update notification or refresh your Ravelry library to download the Clue 6 file. If you haven’t joined yet, you can get the pattern here. ā—One more thing: mark your calendars for the Virtual Fashion Show on April 19th at 8pm London, UK time. Everyone who has participated in the knit along is welcome to join us on Zoom, which will also be streamed on YouTube. Finished sweater or not, I would love to see you there. More details to follow.

A new stash-busting sweater for your leftovers and single skeins
While we are all busy stash busting the Rujuu Sweater together in our MYAL, I wanted to share a new pattern that was born from the same mission: using up leftovers and single skeins on purpose. šŸ™‚ The Emel Sweater is a colourwork pullover worked at worsted gauge, which means you can mix yarn weights to hit gauge, just like you have been doing with Rujuu. The colours are organised into five tonal categories that progress from light to dark, so the result looks considered rather than random. It uses a seamless top-down construction with a European shoulder, and the longer floats are managed with Ladderback Jacquard, including a three colour version I cover in a dedicated tutorial on YouTube. There is also a full construction deep-dive video if you want to understand the build before you cast on. šŸ¤“ The Rujuu and Emel sweaters share the same gauge and a similar approach to colour, so if you have leftovers from the MYAL or you’re inspired by the gorgeous combinations shared on here, this is another project to put them to use.🤩 Use code EMEL20 at checkout on Ravelry or Etsy for an intro discount, valid until 1st March, midnight UK time. Newsletter subscribers, check your inbox for an exclusive code. šŸŽ

Sharing the joy
I saw @Zanete Hussain 's latest colourwork project, which has just gone out to the test knitters. I fell in love, and treated myself to some of the colourchange Transitions yarn for this and future projects. They just arrived, and the liminal colour matches the background sock yarn that I'd had in mind perfectly! I'll use the others in more ZaneteKnits patterns. I can't stop squishing them, they're so soft and bouncy!

Finished Clue 4
Finally done with Clue 4 realizing I screwed up the pattern with the slip stitches in clue 3 🤦 I want to hurry up now. I am so far behind and I would love to be on one of the beautiful collages. 🄹
