I can't increase my frequency till November so I've delayed starting a little bit till today. I made a little video about why October 1st is a really good day to start new things ready to hit the ground running in January. So it's out there now. Here we go!

Hello Everyone! I have ten channels I am studying: some I had followed before and some are brand new to me, a wide variety of content areas. My favorite is an early 30's guy (I am guessing) who has something like 1.8 million followers and I categorize him as "Having a Bromance with Himself"... he actually likes journaling and reading so I figure I will learn from him. I also looked up "Retirement Romance" looking for an old person trying to find fun dates. I found... retired people being retired and talking about how great retirement is. I was hoping for Golden Bachelor in the real world but instead I found a cheerful retired woman I will follow. LOL. Anyway, I am having fun with this and probably over the weekend I will make my declaration video. I also need to go through my backlog of video bits and pieces and putting them together to publish. I have a lot of footage and since I just sent my book to the designer I can take a deep breath again finally!

Ok so now I have 12 channels in my collection that I like, and I have been looking at intros, to find out what I do and don't like. Other things I am looking at are the execution of the video, what works for me and what doesn't. I have made several videos in this first week but hey were for my other challenge, so I am going to try and make one more! The other day someone asked me why I was called Ragged Poet, and it got me thinking! I cannot even recall when I started using that name but it was long before I started YouTube. I made my first video a one off in 2009, so that was 16 years ago. Anyway I thought I might make a video talking about my channel name and my plans for it moving forward! So what are the rest if you up to? discoveries? plans?
