Congrats to @Vicki D for being featured on DarynStrauss’ channel as an example of ‘a channel that is on a mission’🦾 Vicki is on a mission so check her channel out if you haven’t yet🤩 It was such a thrill to see her channel pop up‼️ Have you come across videos talking about this ‘show’ idea? What are your thoughts? I think about it and it’s what I think my weekly group livestream is that we are coming up to 1 year of filming every single week. We’ve got our 1 year celebration live coming up on April 24th USA time but I’m very proud of not missing a week that whole time of gathering friends to talk about our week or interviewing guests like @Fil Ladden Kevin Kolbe and Rob The Maritimer. I will put a post up closer to the date with a link to the live🥳 Do you think of the whole ‘YouTube audiences are showing signs of preferring ‘Shows’ than random videos here and there’?

Yay, Vicki❣️ Yep. She’s definitely on a mission and very intentional. Do I think that YouTube audiences are showing signs of preferring shows rather than random videos? It could be but I think it’s all relative. That is to say, some viewers enjoy “random” and others might like a “series”, for instance. Actually, YouTube has always been one big show network, in my opinion, that’s divided into anything from documentaries to lifestyles, comedy, tragedy, arts, crafts, music, science and beyond. It shows stuff to people. So it’s the actual “program, episode, series or topic, etc.” that will be either popular or less popular, according to the ratings, right? Viewership, popularity, watch hours, call them what we will. People are unique and enjoy different types of viewing and formats. I can only speak for myself and the content that I enjoy watching and creating. Though, we’re all in the spotlight or stage inside the virtual tube so-to-speak, as we perform and talk to ourselves. 😀 Our intent is to reach an audience. Sometimes, we have seemingly endless narratives and other times, they are shortened. Turning intent into purposeful action is always something to strive for, in my opinion. Call it what we will, “the show must go on”, as they say. 😍

Promote Your Products or Services on YouTube
Challenges come in different forms and sometimes we might prevent ourselves from moving forward. I’m pleased that YouTube has given me an opportunity to grow my visibility and extend my reach. This is especially true in my retirement years during these hard economic times. I also thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my updates and this additional tidbit of information. Since I can’t always make it to the Coffee Chats, I wanted to touch on this topic with a personal video. I had to change my YouTube frame of mind in order to gain confidence. This video style will be edited and adapted to be more suitable for a specific audience. It’s still a learning process for me. I hope that this example will be somewhat helpful to anyone on this group who does not know where to start. 💓

Just starting to watch this now and it’s shaping up to be full of gems. Not everyone wants to massively scale their channels but if hearing Alexa Saaranoja’s coach interviewing this guy sounds promising - why give it a go? My First REAL Vlog (Antarctica)
