Tomorrow we start a new Standing Pose Series ✨
A fresh class will be posted at 9 a.m. every Thursday. Standing poses are some of the most accessible postures we can do, but don’t let that fool you, they can also be wonderfully strengthening. They help build strength and stamina, support your joints, and create a stronger foundation through your legs and hips. And when the foundation feels steady, we usually feel steadier inside too. More grounded.More stable.More able to relax. Yay. What’s not to love? These are recorded classes, so if you can’t practice right at 9 a.m., no problem.Your class will be waiting for you.

NEWS
Hey my friends 🐺 Just wanted to keep you in the loop so you know what’s happening on my end. As I mentioned in my last post, I’m currently dealing with some impactful personal circumstances. Because of that, I’m going to keep the entire Yoga Wolf Studio free for now. I’ll be adding one fresh video each week. I’ll also hop in here a couple times a week to check on you guys and share a little from my side when it feels right. And of course, I’ll let you know if anything changes in the future. Until then: keep practicing keep showing upkeep taking good care of yourselves This week’s new class is a Level 1 Handstand Class. https://www.skool.com/yoga-40-7155/classroom/a82e89aa?md=a0a260e7ed79417b8ae7d8a270d06939 I know, I know… not everybody is excited about handstands 😄 But they really are fun once you get the hang of them. And even if handstands are not your big dream, practicing them can be incredibly helpful for your posture, shoulders, neck, and upper body strength. They also build that sweet kind of confidence that comes from doing inversions. So even if you think,“nah, not for me” maybe do it anyway 😉 Off you go, my friends. Love you, Doreen

A Quick Studio Update for You
Hey guys, I want to give you a quick update because I’m currently restructuring the online yoga studio. We now have two tiers: Free Access: If you click on the classroom, you’ll see plenty of classes that are free to use. This includes: - the 14-Day Flow & Hip Challenge we ran before - collection of classes for upper body and shoulders - relaxation postures and recovery practices - 3 Digestive Teas These classes are very accessible for anyone who is just getting started with yoga, but they are also very useful for those of you who already have some experience. Most classes are around 10 to 15 minutes or 10 to 20 minutes long, so they’re easy to fit into daily life. Premium Access: In the premium section, which I’m starting at $9, you’ll find: - longer classes - classes that are a little more challenging - practices that work toward things like arm balances and handstands - two new classes each week At the moment, I won’t be offering live classes. That is simply due to personal reasons. I have some bigger changes happening in my private life right now, and I can’t honestly commit to a fixed live schedule at the moment. Right now, I’m in phase one of building this into a valuable online yoga studio for all of you, so things may still shift a little as I figure out the most helpful structure. Thank you for bearing with me while I build this out. For now, head over to the classroom, have a look at what’s available, and see what feels most useful for you. And as always, if you have questions or suggestions, please let me know. May you have a wonderful day,Doreen

They’re in Their Mid-70s… and Getting Ready for This
These two ladies are in their mid-70s, and I always tell them, “I want to be like you when I grow up.” They’ve been coming to my classes for almost two decades now, and it shows. They can get down on the floor and roll around with their grandkids in the sandbox. And right now? They’re getting ready for an 18-day hike in Spain. That’s what I call aging well. Their bodies are capable, strong, mobile, and ready for life. And just as beautiful, they’re funny, compassionate, relaxed, and a joy to be around. That’s the part people sometimes forget: yoga doesn’t just help your body stay more mobile and strong. It also helps you stay a little steadier in your mind, a little more at ease, a little more enjoyable to be around too. 😉 These women are such a beautiful reminder that taking time to care for your body really matters. Not for six-pack abs. Not to become a pretzel. But so you can keep living your life fully. Playing. Hiking. Traveling. Laughing. Getting down on the floor. Getting back up again. These ladies are awesome. And maybe they’ll be a little inspiration for you too to make the time.

Messed Up AUDIO
Hey guys, my audio died halfway through today’s class recording, so I’ll need to record it again tomorrow. I’m not able to redo it tonight, so thank you for your patience. It’s a really good class , we worked toward handstands to build upper body strength and keep the neck and shoulders happy. Sorry for the delay, friends. Technology keeps us humble sometimes.
