Question? Don't get me wrong please

When choosing my zip code, I meant to choose the one where I used to live. It isn't the greatest but also not the absolute worst. I mistakenly chose a zip code that I thought was previously mine but turns out it is literally one of the worst parts of town. I am adding leads as we speak. However, I haven't checked buyers in this area at this time yet, and I am kind of concerned. I myself was robbed at gun point and my phone, wallet and car were stolen about a month and a half ago. There have been 120 homicides in the area since the beginning of the year. Can I use this as an advantage or is it a complete disadvantage because it is such a rough part of town? Lord help me!!!
