Watches in the Workplace

Most of the time I just assume wear what makes you happy, but the question recently entered my mind. Should you wear a luxury timepiece think over $3000 USD into a casual work environment where hardly anyone wears a mechanical watch and if they do it's usually around or less than $1000 USD

Obviously you don't want to draw attention to it, but do you think others may judge you negatively for wearing a luxury timepiece into that type of environment?
