Sentimental second watch of the day

Back from the watch hospital today!

This is the watch my father gave me when I graduated high school. It’s a Concorde collection watch on a lizard strap. Still original.

A couple of months ago when I brought it in for a new battery I was told it would cost more to repair than it was worth. I told the nice lady to flip it over and read the back. She did. And said “OH I guess we’re fixing it “ 🤣. I said you are correct ma’am.

I got it back today. 🙏

This watch has always been a bit too small and way to thin for me to wear daily. It’s generally a special occasion watch. But even then I tend to grab something else.

As you all know I’m a hugely nostalgic person. And I get the warm feelings with this watch just by looking at it.

I’m Just the custodian for the next generation.
