Cuervos Y sobrinos

Here is one of my favorite vintage pieces. From Havana Cuba in the 50s. When Cuba was still a destination hotspot for travelers there is a well known watchmaker: cuervos Y Sobrinos. As the story goes, this was a destination for many travelers. I read somewhere that Winston Churchill himself purchased a watch there.

It seems most of their pieces were produced in Europe, and then their brand was added.

When the communist took over in the late 50s, they closed the store, locked the safe, and left the country.

Recently in another company began creating time pieces with the same name and the same design spirit as originals. They are beautiful pieces. You should check them out, so I do not own, but this one.
