We built an openclaw voice agent using PipeCat, Gemini 3.5 flash LLM and eleven labs for TTS. But the voices over the phone sound way worse than they do over the computer. Are there any techniques to improve the quality? I noticed when I was building with 3.1 Flash Live, the quality was a lot better.

I need some guidance on a prject I am currently working on for an accounting practice. They have about 4 locations and are in taking too many calls and are looking for an AI voice receptionist to handle all their calls. I created a VAPI voice receptionist for them, the problem is it hallucinates as it has too many tool calls, I then thought of creating a team of voice agents each with a specific task such as booking agent, updating tasks, etc. The problem is the accounting firm is looking for a cheaper option, and I started working with Livekit. They have thousands of recorded calls for me to use to update into the knowledge base of an agent. I really need some guidance from anyone on where to start with this, if they have used livekit before? recorded calls and how to train an agent on them? Honestly on where to start with this project, as I am thinking of taking this and going to other accounting firms as they are giving me a lot of data to train this voice ai agent.

The agent is performing really well overall: - Speaks naturally and politely - Stays focused on the conversation - Answers questions correctly - Successfully books appointments on Google Calendar However, I'm running into an issue with rescheduling and cancellation. When I ask the agent to cancel or reschedule an appointment, it confidently responds with something like: "Your appointment has been cancelled." or "Your appointment has been rescheduled." But when I check Google Calendar, the original appointment is still there and nothing has actually changed. So my question for those of you who are actively using Vapi or Retell: - Do their built-in Google Calendar integrations fully support appointment cancellation and rescheduling? - Or is the integration mainly designed for booking new appointments? - Do I need to build additional automation/workflows using tools like n8n, Make, or custom API calls to properly handle cancellations and reschedules?
