Kicks, checks, teeps
Hey guys hope you’re all well First day properly being back as I was off with a really bad flu, Was still training but not my normal routine but finally back at it Done 5x5 with 2 rounds of kicks and checks (kicks are finally feeling a lot more natural which is a positive) 3 rounds of teeps First time really teeping on a bag felt a bit hard to go through the bag, only teep I’m staying away from is the sissor teep as my left knee always buckles from the landing as it’s an old injury as it never healed Any advice would be great https://youtube.com/shorts/yCBFra8AvAk?si=DdHQnpf7VbXSh2u9

Question, is there a possibility where I can upload a video of my form and you guys can help me correct or give tips? I was doing reps this morning and I just kinda wished I had someone to help me correct my form where I don’t see myself, if that’s makes any sense?
K1 or Muay Thai ruleset?
Hi, I’ve been doing Muay Thai for 6 years and have had 7 fights in Thai. My record is 5-1-1 with 3 KOs. So far I’ve also had 3 fights in K-1 and I’m 3-0-0. However, I’ve noticed that I really dislike the clinch in Muay Thai, and that boxing and kicking are more my strengths. In my K-1 fights I felt much more comfortable and more “in my element.” I also use very little Dutch-style combinations compared to my opponents, but my precise Thai low kicks give my opponents a very hard time. Because of my Muay Thai experience, many opponents also have trouble getting into the clinch with me. At least that was the case with the three opponents I fought who only trained in K-1. But mentally I can’t seem to take the step to switch competitively to K-1. It somehow makes me feel like a coward or a traitor, and I honestly don’t know why. That’s why I thought you might be able to give me some advice:Should I switch to K-1 even though I feel like I’m being a “pussy,” or should I stay in Muay Thai? Thanks in advance 🙏

Hey guys - I am serious about continuing Muay Thai - I don’t want to do MMA but I want to be able to keep up with the guys at the gym. I’m struggling with endurance, form and some mechanics. Any advice ?
